    Requesting rule change.

    I'll keep this short.

I think we should change the rule on requesting hacking assistance to a 1 week ban, unless they actually follow through.

I don't think we should be bias based on who has a bigger wallet. This should apply to all members, from new to old, rich to poor, stingy to kind.

I'm sure some of you can figure out why I posted this but I think fairs fair.

All Rules should apply to All members.

Um.. Why a 1 week ban? The only reason they didn't go through with it is they failed to find somebody. If they found somebody they would of easily got them to hacked the person.

Do you have any examples of bans for this offence?

That may be so and i agree with you, but why should Bubba be an exception from the rules.

How will staff be able to tell if they went through with it or not?

I have no idea, they did it with bubba so why not everyone else. Rules are there for everyone, not to be bent for the rich.

Also just incase your wondering I don't hate bubba fuzz, I merly don't like the way he was let off for something that the average member wouldn't be.

Agreed, also to my understanding interests in things like hacking, phishing, ddosing ect result in a perm ban. So why shouldn't asking someone to hack a persons msn be any different.

If I hire some one to kill a man I can still be charged with murder even though I did not commit the act.

Isn't the rule already a perm ban?...

    Also bubba was pardoned.

We are reforming our policies. Stay tuned.

For example Deagon just made DDOS threats over msn but then later said it was a joke. I only dealt him a 30 day ban for being so uncaring and threatening others. This not only makes him think about what he said, but it gives me to full go ahead to perm ban him if he steps out of line again.

Also note DDOS threats can get you a permanent ban at our discretion.

Agree, There is no reason why someone can ask others to hack someone and be given such a light punishment.

Sorry I was banned when it happened, Did I hear he was willing to pay someone to do it?

1 week for something like this is a joke hence why I made this whole thread. I'm aiming for people to disagree with me yet at the same time agree.

See im more impressed with 1 month ban due to the nature of the offence. 1 week as at best a sit in the corner punishment and doesnt teach anyone anything.

Not sure if he offered to pay or not but it shouldn't make a difference to be honest. I agree with a 1 month ban for threats but actually requesting someone to ddos or hack something be it a msn or runescape account is the same thing as committing the act yourself and should be dealt with accordingly.

Yet somehow he was let off with a slap on the wrist, I'm sure hes not the first person to be banned for such an offence, yet to be unbanned so swiftly shows that the rules don't apply fairly to all members.

unfortunately their is nothing us regular members can do about that other than hope for a stricter punishment for future rule breakers.

Aren't you required to wait six months before appealing a ban via pardon anyway though?
