FPS Games (small change)

I propose that the description for the FPS section be changed from

to a much more appealing and crowd-pleasing

I love Counter-Strike and all, but that games heyday is long gone. Many more play Call of Duty and I'm sure it would attract more visitors to that derelict section.

 

I support that. Call of Duty is a lot more well known

 

Yeah. As much as I enjoy playing CS it isn't played as much as it used to be.

 

It's definitely more appealing, wouldn't you say? Call of Duty is a huge franchise now. It will attract some people to the section if they know they can discuss their game if they own it.

 

Support, Counterstrike is really outdated. Time for the New guns to come in

 

Counter Strike is a classic, i dont see a reason why it needs to be changed. It has FPS in the description, and Counter Strike is only an example.

 

As driveahonda said, it's only an example. The title of the forum isn't misleading and I'm pretty sure if the sub-text example were to be changed that it wouldn't exactly "attract more visitors."

 

exactly what i think. The title says First person shooter, that should be enough for people to realize that it includes many FPS games. The example of a type of FPS doesn't have to be the most popular game IMO, i can be anything.

 

A lot of people started playing FPS games on MW2 and Black Ops. They probably don't have a clue what Counter-Strike is.

I'm just trying to see if I can make it more appealing to everyone; we all know what Call of Duty is. I recognize it's an example, that's why I want a better example for the new generation of FPS players.

I agree, and more people are playing Call of duty anyways.
