Rs Slang

I recently started playing runescape again; Im just starting to noticing that runescape has it's own slang haha.

here's the list of words ive been hearing:


Umadbro
L2pk
Bro
L2 any another thing you can think of
2k10 prod/2k08 prod
sw prod

There's a couple more I just can't think right now.
Its pretty lame and funny at the same time. When I think back to when I used to play a lot. The only word I could remember us saying was m8.

Lol I guess rs changed a lot since I last played.

People just start saying bro , before it was m8. It's all considered slang.

l2pk is the only "rs slang" since it has the word PK in it.

Are in no way limited to runecsape. They didn't even start on runescape.

 

Ha your one of the people that uses rs slang, I could tell. don't be abarrased bro it's all good.
Anything that isn't in the dictionany is consided slang. Therefor saying these words on runescape would make it "rs slang".

 

I never said they was limited to anything, it's still considered rs slang as long as everyone is using them on rs. I use bro irl it's basic internet gaming slang considering you probably don't say these words irl... I hope so lol

Also, just because the slang's used on RS doesn't mean it would be considered Rs Slang, it would still just be considered slang.. We don't call it "real world slang," when we say "yo" , or something.. It just remains as "slang" ..

 

Wrong. "rs slang" implies that these slang terms originated from runescape. They didn't.

Lol not really slang but a lot of the new generation pkers are using the word "Nerd" and "kid" I kind of find it funny.

l2pk is an abbreviation for learn to pk

its not slang, there commonly used abbreviations except for prod which is just ingame talk

Here are some I see on the foruma lot.

obvious (word here) is obvious
a lot of jigglyflex and words that sound like jagex but are spelt different.

2k10 prod is a player who starting playing in 2010 and usually saying this to someone means their garbage or a newbie.
