Connect a bot through a proxy.

This has been a problem for me for a long time. Many of the hotspots that I visit forward all internet traffic through a Squid proxy on port 8080.

This is a problem whenever I try to bot. The client can't talk to the server and therefore it can't even start. I am not exactly sure what handles what but I can't imagine there is no way to fix this. I don't know if network configuration is handled within the java program (bot) itself or if it gets proxy configuration for the JVM.

Any light shed on this matter would be appreciated.

 

Try going to a botting forum under tech support ( the site you got the bot from)
more than likely someones been in the same situation as you before and got the problem sorted.

 

Go to a botting site
take plenty of screenies showing your problem
and they should be able to help you.

 

The problem is not with the bot clients. It is with the JVM. Can anyone provide me with a method of assigning a JVM it's own IP address.

Also I have no idea how I would take a screen-shot of this problem. Bots simply won't connect behind this proxy.
