ACE - A new runescape bot.

ACE IS NOT 'AceBot' the virus, ACE (acronym of Awesome Compared to Everything) is written in Java where as the AceBot virus is a native binary for Windows (ACE runs on multiple platforms). Please do not confuse us with the virus, WE ARE NOT THEM. We realise that this naming is unfortunate and we may be changing, sorry for any confusion.

ACE - Awesome Compared to Everything is a new RuneScape bot designed from the ground up to be easy to use and reliable, we really went back to basics with this project to provide something that you will feel comfortable immediately but also has all the the power you could ask for from a bot.

Who are you?
Well I am char_69, one of the admins, the other being ptiX, ptiX and I are the developers of the bot.

Which techniques does ACE employ?
ACE is written in Java.
ACE uses reflection to gather data about it's target.
ACE and acebot.net operate under a one-account system, meaning that as soon as you register your forum account, you are good to log into the bot and use scripts, or log into the web repository and upload scripts.

How much does it cost?
It's FREE, and we don't even bombard you with advertisements, we aspire to run on donations.

Is ACE open source?
No it's not, however it does have a plug-in system which we feel is a better solution to customization, as you do not have similar branches of the same product floating around.

How do I script for it?
Scripting is done in Java with plans to support other languages such as Groovy.

How do I distribute scripts?
ACE utilises a script repository that is accessible through the bot.

An interface like this takes two minutes to make...

= substance skin and some buttons.

Plus it's probably backdoored with a keylogger or RAT or a botnet.

After browsing the site their is basically no activity and rare amount of downloads to even being with? Is the bot even safe....?:laugh:

 

You didn't show ANY proof of it working. For all we know the pictures could be shopped. Show videos of the bot working then more people will be compelled to believe you.

This is stupid, can you guys stop flaming something that you have next to no information about? You've seen a working video, You've seen pics, what else do you want on an un-released product?

You can't make assumptions about things you've never tested.
& @Sacro - I expect better, especially from a MOD. It says things about this board, it really does.

I personally know one of the developers and I have had chats with the other, I trust them both 100% and I know that this Bot is working & fully functional. And as _optix said: "Can't expect a bot that is still actively being developed to be perfect on first public release", It's stupid for anyone to say otherwise.

These guys have put a lot of effort into developing this bot and making it 100% FREE! and all you can do is flame and lock the thread, even know you were given sufficient information about an un-released product. It really is pathetic.

@Sacro - Do your job properly. Refrain from locking threads to 'protect' your users from UN-RELEASED software.
@Stuffs - You cannot see that from a sped up video.
@Marine Clark - It's a new product. Obviously it's not going to have a huge fan-base with a awesome website. Skidd.

This thread is proving more & more, just how many Skidds there are on sythe now. Please, Stop flaming threads just because you're all paranoid. Actually chat with the developers, Test the product when it's released and then make your decision based on that.

First of all, I've paid for every single bot/script I use, so if that makes me a script kiddie, then oh well.

What do you expect? You post about a new unheard of bot, and all you have are two ambiguous pictures, and a sped up video? Oh, and yes, the video does run like shit. The walking isn't smooth whatsoever, the classic bot-like walking of clicking somewhere, waiting till your character is there, and then clicking somewhere else. Also, it seems like it doesn't even open the door, and got lucky with clicking right when the door was open.

Can't really tell more than that from a 3:52 long sped up video.

And Sacro is doing his job. Not only is he being cautious in allowing a link to be posted (to protect the users of this forum), but he's giving his unbiased opinion. Is a mod not allowed to comment on a video?

 

There was one mistake in the whole video to be fair, the rest of the time the bot runs well, also our mouse splines are much better than other bots, that use perfect curves or straight lines.

 

Ever coded your own? If the answer to that was "No" then yes, you are in-fact a skidd. (Just because you 'Paid' for the scripts doesn't make you not a Skidd, It just makes you a Skidd with money.)

You are all being over paranoid, How is anyone supposed to release a new bot, if it gets turned down by the community & its' moderators before it's even been released?!?!?

You all need to give things a chance before crying "TROJAN!" and getting your nearest excuse of a moderator to lock the topic.

Sacros' opinion wasn't biased at all, I perfectly agree, it was his OPINION. Still a bit extreme to lock the thread!
Also, if you check the forums, there are a few other (Worse looking) bots that moderators haven't even questioned, Making this seem very weird & 'Biased'.

I am a coder myself. In fact, i have coded scripts well over 15,000 lines. Call me a "Script Kiddie" of you want, because frankly, I dont give a fuck about your opinion. I queried a few other moderators, and we agreed to lock the thread until more was known about this new bot, which in fact looks very fake. You guys have no reputation, no trust to go by, if you find my locking of this thread wrong, take it up with Finn, or Tyro. I posted my opinion for everyone to be cautious in downloading until it is verified, and I asked another mod to verify it while i was at work. Contact Nonamekiller, im sure he will vouch for that.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with the hacking communities, but i know quite a few people, and i know how easily this file could infect our users. If you want me to set up a warning about the download, i'll be happy to. Otherwise take your mediocre insults somewhere else.

 

We aren't here to stir up trouble, we are just here to spread the word about good software, I mostly understand your reasons for locking the topic and I don't harbour any grudges. In fact the only thing I take issue with is people saying it's fake when it's quite clearly not, there is video evidence.
