need help with Making "heading"

We just started C++ at school. In 3 weeks we need to make 4 on a row etc.

But my partner and me are thinking of making a heading with our names (if we run the program)

Something like this with our names. Can someone help me with this?

Do you mean a program that prints out an 'M' using *s?

 

When i run the program (Ctrl + F5)
than it must show our names at the top (heading) by using *s

Sure is possible.

I would approach it by writing a "PrintStrAsStars(char *str)" function, which calls a "PrintCharAsStars(char c)". Both would do what their names suggest.

Naturally, the second function would be a lot longer than a function should be. Can't think of any way around that.
