Fire Cape using Curse Prayers?

I've gotten 2 fire capes in the past, but my stats were:

68 ranged
44 prayer

I am just wondering if it is recommended to do it with Eagle Eye or Leech Ranged?

Should I swap back to normal prayers for doing the fire cape?

 

You can do it with both, leech ranged will only work well if you leave it on for a long period of time though.

 

Used it through the entirety of Jad, and the deflections helped a ton.

Achieved.

 

really it's only a 5% difference... I don't see a reason to go completely switch back

And if you have soulsplit you can get them HP's to save brews

 

Yeah I don't have SS yet, only 83 prayer.

I used deflections which saved a LOT of bolts, in the long run..

Deflecting jad's hits made them hit 100+ LP on him (10s and 13s)

 

wow, that would add up to a lot over the time jad takes to ko.. good job on fcape

 

What were the other stats of the account?

Or just some random main?

 

72 Ranged
83 Prayer
70 Hitpoints
45 defense

 

I would say leech would work better then normal prayer.

 

yeah curses would be alot better than standard prayers, like you said, the deflections alone speed up the process and help you out, get to jad faster, save more bolts. cant lose really lol shame about no soulsplit, free brews

 

Curses are way better for caping.
