Price of RS2 Gold on Feb. 1st

I think that the gold sellers should have a giant ammount cash and and that transfering should be a lot easier now so that the prices should go down, but then again thats only because I'm a gold buyer and want the prices to fall.

 

In a way I actually agree with this. If you think about it, now people pay extra because they do not have a method of transferring. When the update comes, there will be no need for the fee of transferring, which will lower the prices, but then demand comes in to play, so the prices will raise. Ultimately, I believe prices will raise slightly.

 

My thoughts exactly..but I wouldn't call the price deflation "massive" persay..

I just think the volume of things being traded in general will go up.

If you don't mind me asking Nate, what do you plan to sell your gold at?

I think I'll open my shop exactly on Feb. 1st at 2.00$/M .

 

I don't get how people are saying pvp drops introduce gp into the game.

It's merely items, no gp is introduced. The only gp that comes into the game is old accounts, and monster drops?

Yes..old accounts. Many people completely quit with the removal of staking/wildy/ft ..when they return literally billions will return to the game.

 

Honestly, the actual number is just a guess, but i imagine it will only increase a little bit. Seeing as it is a demand that is increasing. Major suppliers of rs gold will be leaving when the update rolls around.

1. Statues will be removed from the game, which brought billions of gold in the game

2. Merching clans will be removed from the game, which gave gp sellers a bulk of the rs gold and thus, their supply will be depleting over time.

So my conclusion is that supply is decreasing, demand is increasing. But not enough to overkill it, hence my guess of 2$ flat rate per\M

 

in my opinion, the price of gold will rise slightly per mill. But dragon calws and everything else i think will rise in GE

2. I can tell you as a gold seller myself, GE limits leaving and free trade coming back into play makes stocking up a hell of a lot easier.

Fair enough..on some other sites people are saying things like "trusted sellers of at Sythe are going to be selling a .5/M" ..that's false, for the most part.

 

i've been wondering this myself, wether to buy some cash right now or wait.. i heard some people saying it will be like less than 50 cents/M

 

I feel the same as nate. For the first couple of weeks, the price will drop to right around or below $1/M. Then after some of the supply is depleted, the price will increase to about $2-3/M.

 

4-5$ a mill?

 

I think it will crash to one, then go back to around 2.50/3$.... at least thats what my cash stockpile is telling me

You guys have to remember not everyone is gonna keep buying 100M every day.
Hence why I think it'll stay around the same price or drop a bit.

Yeah, but those people wont be buying 100m on 10 accounts meaning the demand will decrease.

 

To be honest i dont think gold will rise heaps. However i think items such as dragon claws will rise a fair bit.
