Thanks to obamacare and the millions of dumbass laws that slid in with the bill..

We have to send a 1099 to anyone/company/etc we pay services for including t.i.p.s and etc totaling 600 for the calender year.

First off I spend more than 2-3x $600 in SHIPPING alone every month and you're telling me I have to collect taxes for the IRS on that???

Anyone else besides me, see that this is insane? >_< >_<

Have fun hiring enough tax agents for this.

It's bullshit. I mean, outside all that. The county I live in charges $85 for a carton of smokes. But, you better watch what you say if you don't want the secret service knocking on your door. And that's why you have people pay for the shipping if they want the product.

I pay about 20-22k a year in shipping. I give free shipping because it's an instant 5 star DSR (Detailed Seller Rating) for eBay. One of the things which has earned me Top-Rated-Seller status. On top of that I run a few other accounts ranging from Bronze PowerSeller to Titanium PowerSeller. I pay thousands in fees, customs agents, suppliers, whosellers, etc, etc..

It will be a pain in the ass to try and collect taxes for this to pay the IRS.

In a nutshell, the IRS wants us to pay 10k trying to get 1k. I hope and pray this sad ass law gets shut down.
