great about to get hacked?

i could be getting hacked... it could be my friend.... im not telling because i dont want to disclose any names or ruin anyones rep if this is a false alarm..

someone sent my friend or myself this mgs in pm:

"FUCK man my little borther clicked on a phishing email and its stealing my passwords and shit to everything

My paypal got hacked, all my money is gone
they got my bank info, all my rs accounts are hacked adn they keep recovering them

they got my maxed pure 14 def

They might get/have the info for your account

i dont know what the fuck to do

I called the cops and shit cause they took like 3000 out of my bank account"


myself or my friend just bought an account here for a large sum of money... what the fuck should i/him do? is him/myself screwed 100%...

wat could i/my friend do to insure the chances of getting scammed be a minimum?

virus scans.... lots and lots of virus scans then reformat and then have his brother stay the fuck away from his computer.

 

well they logged into my rs account... somehow they delete the recoverys right away i thought this took some time? also they tried to delete my bank pin.. fail lol...

i transfered 120mill basically over to my main its safe and sound

 

Theres a way to recover an account fully with just the user and pass... I would suggest you run an antivirus scan for a keylogger then change your pass.
The sooner the better

 

i dont have any keyloggers on my computer my computers 2.3grand and i have all the protection i need...

however i will tell the seller to do that also

 

Lol@RichBoy thinking he's not vulnerable to viruses.

 

He safe if he has the top virus protectors that he can afford So he has a point.

I just think he needs to virus scan anyways.

 

make sure you virus wall is up to avoid key loggers keep changing your pass man all i cud say is good luck and if its your friend hes an ass hole lol no offense

 

He can have all the anti viruses on his computer (although I do not condone this) and still manage to have a virus sneak in.

the point is someone has pretty much all the info to the account and keeps recovering the password... i spoke to a jmod and they said there going to lock the account and send it to "clean account" to have it looked over and try and delete all the info the hijacker could no... well see how that works..

i got the account back last night and i woke up this morning and boom pass changed again yippy

Ok first off i see 2 problems with that email
1. Phishing snails arnt viruses they justbhave you login therefore this email is a hoax.
2. No hacker in their right mind would take 3000$ from a paypal it is 100% traceable

Therefore that person who sent the email is the one doing this.
I am a respected member of various hacking sites and if you need further help let me know.

 

If it keeps getting recovered and locked, get it banned. The person will always be able to recover it.

Tl;dr it's fucked.

 

Scan all your computers, keep trying to recover them and get all your accounts secure with emails/recovs/put members on so you know the details, maybe contact Jagex, hopefully you get your money back and gl.

 

If your dumbass brother labeled the keylogger as safe anything could be happening in and around your virusscanners/firewall.

Just reformat and reinstall. Idk why you wouldnt.

 

It is a virus what you have, either a keylogger or a RAT - that's why your passwords get changed all the time. There are fully undetectable virus, so don't think you're safe just by having an antivirus/firewall, common sense also applies. The best you can do is to format your computer(saving important files of course).

 

Guys maybe I didn't explain myself..

I didn't say I had a keylogger the person who sold my the account claimes his brother got the keylogger on his comp and when we exchanged info via email that's how my account got hacked lol

 

sounds like the guy you sold your account to is trying to get his shit back from you. Request a lock on the account.

 

He has all the info on the account an is origional owner so if he doesn't get the account back for me that means he took it and ill get him banned on sythe and take my money back on paypak and move on
