    Question on a simple rule

I don't think it is against the rules but they would prefer that you do it yourself so that the mods don't have to fix it for you.

    Question on a simple rule

It doesn't have to be, he went out of his way to fix something that wasn't broken. Be thankful and move on.

    Question on a simple rule

My mistake.. I honestly didnt see the point in not just clicking on the video to view it rather than editing the post.

    Question on a simple rule

I'm fairly certain you have to use it, but there's a few "hidden" rules on Sythe that some people don't follow. Everyone that posts videos in the spam forum don't always follow that rule, but it slides.

Just trying to keep from scammers hyperlinking phishing sites I'd assume.

    Question on a simple rule

Although your supposed reason for using tags is probably right (unless it just to make it easier), I don't think it's a rule, just a preference by mods and users that view the thread for the respective reasons. I don't really think the issue is that big, saves you opening a new tab I guess, but that's about it.

    Question on a simple rule

You are able to make a link look like youtube.com/91245872943587284352 and have it link to a java driveby/phisher.
    That is why.
