Possible Scam Report: Starvin Marvin and Protrainer4u

As some of you know, they have a pmod recommendation service:

    http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=986827

I like some of you, have purchased this service. However I am having a issue with my purchase, as I have been given no solid proof that my recommendation has been sent.

Now, on Sythe, NOWHERE is text counted as proof. What have I been given as proof that I have been "recommended"?

Well... Protrainer4u hasn't given me any... and Starvin Marvin, gave me a pm with some text about what supposedly is my rec.

Now according to sythe rules, and common sense... that isn't valid proof of anything.

Maybe some people have blindly accepted the fact that they were recommended, but for 40$ I would like solid proof. Which neither will give, thing is, they both cite "scared to lose their pmod account.".... well, for starvin marvin... I have his pmod name in the pm, so the argument for secretively isn't valid. Im not asking for them to post a proof of purchase all over sythe, just to me. I don't even have an issue of having their names blocked out... as long as I can see my posted message in the recommendation forum..... I fail to see why this is so much to ask.

They both will argue that they don't say they will give proof in their thread... honestly I feel like that is besides the point... it is a given fact that they need to post proof for people which pay for their service.

Also... Marvin states here that proof will be given... the 4th post on the thread... and like we all know, text isn't proof.

    http://sythe.org/showpost.php?p=7745147&postcount=4

No one else besides starvin marvin has been promoted to mod, and the fact that he randomly posts on protrainers original thread saying he became one, without any previous posts on the thread, and without any proof... despite a couple members asking for him to post proof.... it does seem a little off.

Now if this pmod recommendation thing, cant be proof backed, why is it even allowed on sythe? What stops anyone from being a pmod making so called "recommendations" without any proof... its their "word" as proof, and by seeing some of the actions of members on sythe, that is worrisome.

Now... Im not calling for them to be banned, I am not saying they are or aren't legit, maybe they are, maybe they aren't.... but i would like solid proof of my pmod recommendation being sent in... and without that proof, I am requesting a refund.

Their service is being shut down for the reasons expressed in your report. However considering you had seen and knew before what you were getting yourself into regarding the lack of "proof" for their service, you will not be refunded.

Additionally for the screenshot shown in the MSN convo we had, Pro will be serving a temp ban. Case closed.
