How much will lower rares like Santa and h mask crash till??

Help I got blue h mask and green and Santa hat 1 of ea...I want to know if I should sell it min ATM as they have been crashing since I bought them for 100m++ea...or will they rise back to 100m as usual as they always rise and drop??

 

Hold on to them. Forever. Rares never get less rare, and will, in the future, always go up in price.

 

So should I try to get somemore rares??I still got 120mil to spare...do u think it would be a wise choice to invest on a red h mask or 2 green h mask or Santa ?

That's terrible investing strategy. When you see an item crashing as hard as h'ween masks and santas, you sell for min asap. Then either invest somewhere else, or buy back for min at the next update. Rinse and repeat. It's true that rares will go up in the future, but there's such a huge supply of santas and masks that it's very unlikely they'll ever reach the price of partyhats (hundreds of mils). If you remember when there was free trade and even for a while after, santas and h'ween's were around 30mil. I wouldn't be surprised if they reached that level again.

tl;dr: Sell now, but keep an eye on their prices if it looks like they're heading towards a strong rebound. I'm guessing they will crash even harder on Feb 1st.

 

I'm trying to buy a green phat with all my mask Santa and cash...so if theory rise back to 100mil then I think I can afford it...

 

Has anyone in here ever taken a stock investing class? Jesus. DO NOT SELL! The prices of rares in runescape always go up and down so just wait. Stock market is buy low and sell high. Sometimes you should cut your loses but when you know it will go up then wait. Also wait a little while for the other masks to go down and buy a couple more at cheap.

 

Get rid of blue asap. Green/Santa may or may not slightly rise soon. I suggest you get rid of both the green and blue mask though at least. Personally I would sell all 3 as soon as possible. Do not use the "long term investment" excuse or the "they will rise back soon" excuse cause they most likely won't. Honestly if you sell them now and get the money you can easily make 20-30mil per day flip merchanting anyway.

 

Sell them, they will continue to drop.

It depends whether you're looking for long or short term investing. Values of rares will always be in an overall up trend, even if during strange times such as these they might be going down.

If you're looking to actually sell your rares any time within this year, you probably shouldn't be investing in rares in the first place and you should sell them now.

After free trade comes out there is no doubt rares will go up in price.

It will be so easy to get money I don't see how prices would go down.

 

Nobody understands this concept:

ALL DISCONTINUED ITEMS ARE RARE

And by stating this inevitable fact; all rares will eventually rise to the point of no tomorrow. Example: Party hats.

I really do suggest that you hold onto them until the point where they are of indefinite value.

Tbh just remember that you don't lose money unless you sell.

 

Right now purple is buyable in ge if you put in your offer a few hours AFTER the update. People expect yellow and purple to be mid for a short while after free trade. If i were you i would get rid of the halloweens and get a phat instead seen as though thats what you really want

People will panic, items will crash. I'm personally going to take advantage of this. In my opinion just be patient. I know it's hard to just sit there and watch your items crash but in the end it will be worth it.

 

i think they'll stabilize around 50m for masks and 40m for santa's. They will probably not be sold on the GE after the update
