Well, Let's start a thread that discusses all the lures/scam/anything else rule breaking that we either did or fell for!

Never Scammed anyone but...

One time I picked up 100 laws at a drop party (500ea) and I tried to buy a rune pick with 20k of it and someone switched it for a bronze... I actually cried haha!

Another time I got hit with the "New update!!! Jagex Blocks your pass in game LOOK! ******* <----"

Of course I tested it and they hacked me, but I recovered

Other than that, I guess one time this guy picked a fight with me at monstary while I was training and we foughted in the wildy. I was like lvl 60 and I ko'd him with full guthix (neither of us had food).

Anyway, POSTAWAY!!!

I'm pretty sure they do actually block your password.. Or they do in one of the games I play.. I don't remember which one.

Some ass scammed me a phat

"Selling purple phat 20m" (Back when they were 36m)
I put up like all I had almost
He put up noted purple phat
He declined and said hang on
I said ok
He said ok
He puts up noted purple flowers
And I fell for it :/
Lost bank.

 

Back years ago, the game didn't block your password.

You would be able to say your password in game, until semi-recently. (Not exactly sure)
Now it says "You're giving out your password blah blah blah"
And for a while, I had a password "fuckyou" and it really was blocked on rs
(Changed it ages ago gl trying to hack me )

 

My history involves being scammed for a black g skirt that I gave to my friend because he said he would try and sell it for me.

my next instance is when the d full helm came out, i gave me long time friend 70m cash so he could buy it for me. he had some connections apparently. he never messaged me after that. i never scammed people during ft. except luring some dude for his mithril armour

 

I never broke any rules on RS before I came to Sythe. Not once ; )

Oh, and also. Duel arena staking rule changing, I never did it. But it's happened to me

I got scammed for a whip once, was selling for like 1.3m back in the day, guy put up 1.37 then declined and said "hold on a sec". traded again and the fucker put up 137k and I fell for it >.< nothing major but I was pissed. Other than that though I've been pretty smart with my account, never been hacked or anything.

 

4-5 years ago I used to get scammed so much. Guthan spear to Leaf-bladed spear got me a few times back when the Spear was 5m+. Impossible to get scammed now with the huge flashing lights and the 2nd trade screen

 

Lol i remember doing this scam with my friend i would sell some useless item for cheap (25k). Then somewere else around varrock bank he would be buying it for like 100k or something. So some guy would buy it off me for 25k hoping to make a profit but i got a free 25k=)

 

I got scammed buying 100 lobs and ended up getting 1. 25k im like wtf its only 25k. Money hungry kids those days.

 

I only got scam once in RS but it was pretty small... I lost 20K Chaos to a fucking asshole who fails

I also have never scam anyone in RS ever.

 

scammed 100 yew logs off of some noob, I changed them for normal logs. Besides that nothing really, I lost about 25k buying an iron scimitar instead of a rune one but that was it.
