IMO Light Heavy weight is the best division in the UFC
Clay Guida still doesnt deserve a title shot to me, but if he beats Pettis I will admit he does
I want to see Edgar Maynard 3 after the last one, very good fight.

 

Meh it didnt live up to what i think it should have. Clay Guida Vs Anthony Pettis is next and i will watch that one like its the LHW championship.

I dont really care who wins Edgar or Maynard.

 

I train at the same gym as Pettis. I got to touch the WEC Lightweight belt. o.0

Nah. Duke doesn't want us taking pics with any of the fighters. Gotta give them their space. I'm in Pettis' Jiu-Jitsu class though, only talked to him once. Nice guy.

 

Oh that sucks balls. And uh, what else do you train in? Any chance of following Pettis's road into the UFC ?

I liked how maynard dominated him, then frankie came back.

 

Well I'm doing kickboxing and some Muay Thai right now along with the Jits. I've only been training for a few months so it'll be a while before I get a fight, if I do at all.

 

Where exactly is the camp?
I know it's Roufous' but have you seen anybody else there, Pat Barry, etc.

 

How much longer do you think your gonna need to train before fighting in a small promotion?

 

It's in Milwaukee. There's two locations. I've seen Pat Barry, Eric Koch, Danny Downes, Eric Schafer. All top level fighters.

Well it depends on how the fighter progresses really. I don't have a background in any discipline so it may take me longer as opposed to someone who has a background in boxing or wrestling.

 

Well, if your talented you'll probably be able to skyrocket past easily.
Just never expect to go undefeated, that's one of the hardest things to do in MMA.

Alot of people start MMA later in their 20s after learning a discipline so yeah i get what your saying.

How don't you want to see edgar vs maynard 3? the 2nd fight was a all out war with edgar showing how much heart he has.. definitely could be fight of the year and were not even past the first month.

 

I dont consider it a contender for foty, especially since its so early. It was a great fight, becuase he showed he could survive that, but I am interested in Edgar-Maynard 3.

 

Fight of the year or Insomnia treatment of the year. Those two are just doing the same exact thing over and over again. Edgar- Maynard 3 is the same exact thing. Maybe if they actually when for submissions/actual striking than attempting and defending take-downs it might be better.

Im okay when it gets to the ground actually i enjoy and love it. But it really starts to be annoying when Maynard strategy is the same thing he came with the first time. Look at Fitch, his game has never changed he basically just held Thiago down for 3 rounds.

 

They should've finished the fight. That's why I don't want to see it. Just five more rounds of point fighting. Don't let it in the hands of the judges.

And Pettis-Henderson is my FOTY.
