Dont you just hate it when you log on to your account and a hacker has leveled up your defence?

I got a solution for that, when you go to the attack style option you have to type your bank pin, so you can train your defence. it will be like the bank pin, you only have to enter it once and thats it.

lol, its decent idea, but that would get incredibly annoying, think about lagging out, relogging in, switching to accurate for dbow spec, bam, bank pin screen comes up, you just lost all your shit, lol.

Not to mention they could always just do soul wars and put zeals on defense, same with PC points, or they could just get a spear or some other accurate style weapon and use shared to GF you. Try and control the root of the problem, watch what you download, don't give your pass to untrusted, and change your pass often and don't get "hacked" in the first place, lol.

They wouldn't do it because of the fact that every single time you log in you'd have to put in the pin and it would get annoying as hell.

There's many cons for this when there's few pros being mainly, do hackers getting up defence or an unwanted skill but no doubt about it, there would be cons like fighting a monster and getting to a level wanted and wanting to change without someone taking your monster, you'd have to run away to switch and the person would've taken the monster.

 

I hate it when people make their signature too big

 

alex trebek, although a signature too large is in violation of sythe.org rules, I believe spamming is as well. At least the guy with the big signature is actually posting legitimate and On-Topic information, while you are obviously just following him around posting "siggy too big" behind him on every thread. How about just reporting him or contacting him with a PM to nicely let him know he needs to read the rules on Signature size, instead of spamming the forums to get your post count up, thanks.

OT: As many have said, there are much easier ways to prevent being hacked, and especially if you have a 1 defense pure with high stats and good wealth, you should be extra careful with it's details. And if you do get hacked, I guess you could go init, zerk, or tank depending on how much defense they got you. And you could always sw that defense up and hope for a rollback, but make sure to get the karosi sword quest done first and you be the meanest 10 defense karosi sword pure alive!

 

I've personally never been hacked, I don't go to websites that offer free RS auth generators and stat editors etc. My account tends to be alot safer by just sticking with websites that i know aren't harmful.

I don't have a bankpin on my rs account, simply because it is annoying to put in. And if i had to put in a pin to level my skills to, i probably wouldn't play.

even better.. make the pin optional.. so those who dont care about defence can just click no for a option and wont have to go through the hassle of typing a pin everytime they go to train.

 

Sorry lol, but the way you've said this makes it sounds like its an everday thing for you to get your account hacked and def trained And this type of thing only really applies for 1 def pures. Solution: Don't get hacked
