I just heard there's a glitch if you wear them once you can't trade them anymore. not even after you've repaired them.

also there could be the possibility it is not a glitch, and runescape is adapting one of blizzards additions to wow. Bind-on-equipped items. in world of warcraft there are many items in the game, mostly gear from greens to purples that once you equip them, you can no longer sell them to other players. this can range from low cheap items like level 10 greens(~1g) all the way up 85 epics (~10kg+).

although, i could not see jagex doing a preview update with something that major, without having an official announcement

Yeah I heard about this, apparently jagex said it will be fixed with the next update.

It has been fixed already, the item degrades to 100 after u use it, but at 100 u cant fix it. You will have to drop it to 99% before you can fix it and then its tradeable again. Thats how it happened when i tried out my friends bow, just need to use it a bit and then repair
