Runescape Staker Makers Guide

Introduction:

Basically, since there are so many threads being made that say stuff saying:
" What type of staker should I make? " or " Is this account good for staking? "

Well, in this thread, I will answer this for you. If you argue my judgment and prove to me that something is different, tell me. I'll fix it.

Also, vote on the kind you think will be best so people can come to this and see.

Different types of SUCCESSFUL staking accounts to make..

Type: Obby Mauler
Levels to raise: Strength, and HP along the way.
Levels when ready to stake: 80+ strength and 70+ hp
This account overrules: n/a
Do I advise making? No.

Type: Pure Ranger
Levels to raise: Range, and HP along the way.
Levels when ready to stake: 80+ range and 70+ hp
This account overrules: Obby Maulers
Do I advise making? If levels 1-60, yes.

Type: Gobby Mauler ( obby maul to g-maul spec )
Levels to raise: Attack, strength, and HP along the way.
Levels when ready to stake: 50 attack, 80+ strength, 70+ HP
This account overrules: n/a
Do I advise making? If levels 1-60, yes.

Type: DDS Hybrid or Dclaw
Levels to raise: Attack, strength, range, and HP along the way.
Levels when ready to stake: 60 attack, 70 strength, 75 range, 70+ HP
This account overrules: Any other type of low level pure.
Do I advise making? Yes.

Type: Initiate Pure
Levels to raise: Attack, strength, defense, range, HP along the way.
Levels when ready to stake: 60 attack, 70+ strength, 70+ range, 20+ defense, 70+ HP
This account overrules: DDS Hybrid - The defense is a huge help.
Do I advise making? Yes.

Type: Berserker Pure
Levels to raise: Attack, strength, defense, range, prayer, HP along the way.
Levels when ready to stake: 70+ attack, 70+ strength, 70+ range, 70+ HP
This account overrules: Almost everything. Nothing can stop these accounts unless ancients. But more than likely, you're smart enough not to duel an ancients user.
Do I advise making? Yes, and yes.

Type: Range Tank
Levels tor raise: Ranged, defense, HP along the way
Levels when ready to stake: 75+ range, 75+ defense, 70+ HP
This account overrules: Everything, even zerkers. Get a DFS and it's over..
Do I advise making? Yes, more than anything. I wish I had the patience.

Good read. I liked your classifications as I was unsure what a Gobby mauler was. Gotta refresh and be ready again.

Where is the "Defence Pure" Option?
Anyways, a horrible guide IMO. No offence.

 

Most of these builds aren't for staking. These builds are more suitable for PKing.

Not really... I stake on my berserker pure and noone beats me. I own lvl 100's at level 83. It also may be because my armor. If you have money, you can win about every time.

 

Does anyone have any experience in summon tanks? If so, let me hear what you got to say.

zerkers suck for staking

 

Zerkers for staking is a no-no. You can easily win against guys who aren't die hard stakers until the real staking comes back but against someone who knows what they are doing you will get completely owned. Plus it's rare to see anyone staking with armour on, without counting in a few exceptions like Verac's Stakers, who would just own any of the accounts you stated above.

 

Range tanks are pretty kickass.
However, I never was a pure so I don't know 100% on all the others.

lol, zerker stakers are one of the best. See you must stake with no common sense, why would a 1 def pure go against a veracs staker? It's called RS Adventure Log. I look up everyone before a staked fight on adventures log.
I am a zerker, I stake. I'm 84 cb. Bring any acc you want levels 1-90 and we will see who wins. + Everyone stakes with armor on, if you are supposed to wear armor, just decline the stake. Not so hard?

Range tanks can own everything, no matter what ahah. A good range tank with 75+ deff 85+ range 80+ hp.. V helm, Arma plate, V skirt, dfs, rune bow. Amazingg...

They can do both, just have to be smart in different ways.

 

Zerker are one of the best stakers? Did you play RS before the duel arena went down? Any real staker at your level will completely obliterate your zerker without any effort. Sure, you might win against any main/other pures easily, but against a staker account you can forget it, you just won't stand a chance. Plus no one fights armor on, other then Veracs stakers. You would have a huge problem getting fights on any of those accounts, with the only exceptions being the ddser and range pure.

And btw I was talking about high level pures, like Zerkers and Range Tanks vs Veracs stakers.

 

I play verac stakers on my berserker? I beat them? I did stake on the old rs. I used a zerker, and noone ever took off armor that I fought. I made 50m+ a day doin 1m stakes...

i would have to say range tank all the way!

 

dds/whip staker had a staker called kings0f_alch turned it into a main end of 07 had 94/99/80 1 prayer 105 combat would win 80% of the time.. in the middle of making another staker atm,

 

combat 100 range tank is the best don't max out range tanks because it won't be fun being one anymore (talking out of 3 years experience)
