Training range with sling - best spots?

Hey, ill be botting range on a pure i have the stats are currently pretty strong meele-wise, and i just need 50 range for the sake of it.

currently at 40 from the skeleton river spot in varrock dungeon.. but the bot isnt very good at attacking them and sometimes runs miles away. any other good spots?

 

Monks at monastery, they restore hp there. Leave it some hours or while you sleep and boom 50+ range

 

Lesser demon in the wizard tower is caged up and I don't think anyone ever goes there.

 

ill give lesser demons a try, couldnt ever remember where those caged things were.

monks die to fast even with the healing thing.

Make sure to bring some runes and turn the option on the telle grab drop. They drop rune meds and they're 10k a pop

 

There is only one lesser-demon, and the time it takes to respawn lowers your xp a lot.

If I recall, sling at Skelletons was about 18k xp/hour for me, while the lesser demon was like 9k xp/hour.

(Still, sling is about the same xp/hour as bronze arrows).


I'd suggest you stay at the skeletons, just lower the tile-distance. (Make it so they have to be like 5 tiles away before you attack; this will prevent you running so often).

Edit: I think 18k xp/hour was a high estimate. Regardless, it's higher than waiting for the lesser to respawn.

 

Yeah, use a ring of wealth and you will get your goal level over night.

 

Goblins in Lumbridge Woods, thay are alot there so it's a good spot.

and is it tradable?

 

Yeah sling has low stats but you dont need any ammo so its free range training.

 

You could try it at seagulls I guess.

If your 1 def, I suggest continuing at skeletons. Cows are good too but they got a shitload of bots. Some legit players also go there and report. Skeles is good enough and like it's been already said, put the tile lower so it wont run miles away from it and stay at it's tile range.
