* Help * I was hacked and asshole changed my name.

Well, unless they changed something within the last 3 or 4 months you can. The same basic thing happened to me, except they changed my name to Velp. I had a 2 letter name with 8 spaces in between. It was then changed to the same two letters and same 8 spaces except the 2 letters were lowercase, then I changed it back to uppercase. Once your 30 days is up or whatever you have the option of changing it back to the original name.

 

How about you guys actually go try to change your name to a multispaced name before posting;
They're still allowed. I just found like 10 of them without even trying.

They can still be made, as NickV has also demonstrated. Jagex even allows for the reset to occur so that people do not have to wait out the days.

At least, that's how I see it.

I just tried. You CAN type ex. D-Ri-------Q to the name changing box, and it'll say available. BUT when you change your name to it, it WON'T be multi-spaced.

 

I tried a bunch before typing up my original response as well.

Didn't get a single "Name Available"

It must indeed really suck but still, it's a game, just pixels.
As long as you'll still own at staking, I'm sure it won't be that much of a big deal to you mate.

Also very important, track down the way HOW you got hacked and make sure it'll never happen again.
