My first tag I have ever done.. Iron man, like it? Comment please!

It's decent, especially for a first timer. I will hit some basics starting with composition. Composition is the flow, blending, placement or render/text - your text should hit a powerpoint of the Rules of The Third (You can google it and find plenty about it, if my internet wasn't so slow I would upload a tut for you.) Your render placement is good, but the blending doesn't really work. It doesn't flow seamlessly with the rest of the tag.

The color on the tag is a little off, its too dark. Try changing around the gradient maps you use (My personal favorite is the Orange - Purple one) and play around with the blending settings. All together, it is pretty decent for a first timer. Keep reading tuts, find some PSDs you like, and most of all learn new techniques and use them in your own way.

 

I don't think it's too dark, on the contrary, the background is too light and the render is darker than it naturally. Work on effects and find something nicer than a motion blur

 

Work on composition, it's nothing more than a render and background, with minimal blending. Use effects.

 

Not good with all the technical stuff... W00t is helping me though..
