Stellar Dawn Forums

I think it's important for Sythe.org to at least have a plan for incorporating Stellar Dawn. It is Jagex's upcoming MMORPG, and has actually been slated to arrive THIS year. I see we have Diablo III forums, so I think Stellar Dawn should get its own forums soon as well.

Never hurts to be prepared, if Stellar Dawn doesn't become a big deal it can always be removed.

I think we should wait until the BETA arises before anythings implemented, we know nothing really about the game so the discussion would be the same old meaningless crap circulated.

 

Just have a layout, no need to implement anything as of right now.

 

To my understanding, no-one really knows the mechanics of the game as of yet, will it be even possible to RWT, etc.

The simple section like General Discussion, Cheating, Pictures & Videos, etc. are easily predictable, nothing else really.

There's no need for a forum for it at the moment. What would be discussed there? Umm... nothing but spam most likely. Wait until the game at least is in beta so there can be things to actually be discussed. Right now it'd just be a bunch of useless "What do you think it's going to be like?" threads. No support, no point.

 

The section should be added soon. There needs to be an active forum so that when people start playing the game, there is already a section that seems active so that people come to Sythe to talk about the game and cheat and such.

 

Active forum with what? There will be nothing but speculative spam posted until the beta is actually launched. There's no need for a forum about SD at the moment, when it's actually released, or perhaps a week or two before the release date (once they release the release date), then create the forum, but not now.

 

Support, more RWT means more members.

 

I support, the games due about anytime this year. might as well make plans for this MMO.

Not much is known about the game yet. I think it's best to wait and see when the game is actually going to come out before making a section.

 

Speculation and thoughts about the game could be fine. Waiting to make a section is just going to make potential users go away.

 

Speculation on the game would not only been good to bring a few more members in, but having the forum section setup and people talking about it would provide content and improve Sythe's search engine rank for all things Steller Dawn related.

 

I personally would leave it until the BETA comes out or is at least released. If we introduced the section now there would be little to talk about.
