Item Price (F2P) and (P2P)

This topic is about Prices after the "PROBABLY THE BEST DAMN UPDATE IMO" Old wild and unlimited trade coming back.

I would like to see your opinion about prices of F2P and P2P and how it will change after update

Please include
F2P: I believe that F2P item would go up and down
I would said that ALL FOOD = goes up and ALL THE ARMOR/WEAPON goes down
P2P: LOL I DON'T KNOW, I DON'T PLAY P2P ANYMORE
Rares: As high as it is... I believe that prices will stay there just because it is at high as it ever been. It might go up since free trading is coming back and old wild = YOU HAVE SANTA HAT? YOU RISKING SANTA HAT? YOU RICH AS HELL?!? things like these will raise it up
New Items: I don't know any of the new items because I just got back yesterday.

Here's another thing: Old Pkers are coming back.. A.K.A. = ME xD. and 7 other people I talked with while I was on. If you know runescape then you should sorta know that items prices aren't run by merchants but by pkers.
(Not part of topic): I started with 50k and I made 1M already in new wild in two days. I think I might miss this current wild but I love free trades


Overall: I believe that all items right now are probably going to change how it was way back then when unlimited trade and old wild was still around. (You remember when lobster was 200-250, Rune scim 25k, Rune 2h 45-60k. )

I'm asking this because I just want to hear your side of your story and what would you do after the update

prices will be what people are willing to pay.

 

Trade prices will pretty much be the same as they are now for everything if the item doesn't have a street price. However, if the item has a street price then that will assume it's trade price.

Vouch this for sticky thread :O? I assume that since G.E. WONT!! have a limit set on it anymore then prices are going to go ALL OVER THE PLACE! I believe that prices will change due to EVERYONE WHO WANT TO MERCH/MAKE MONEY and prices are going to go crazy.

I'm seeing people selling lobster for 200 each and such. I SUPPORT MY IDEA = PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO PAY 172 FOR A LOB OR 32156 FOR A RUNE SCIM!

Also Farcast: I have to say that STREET PRICE will change the prices... WHY? Simply because G.E. won't enforce any price limit anymore AND G.E. WILL DIE!

 

Well you're going to get your wish very soon.

 

Prices will be driven solely by supply and demand. Those items needed for staking e.g rune knifes, claws, recoils will imo rise.

It'll be such a pain in the ass to sell the items since the G.E will become kinda useless.

Yeah I do agree with you. I post that G.E. will be dead since it ONLY WORKS with ENFORCE LIMIT

I study college level economy in High school and I would agree that price will be part of demand and supply but let's face it, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A SUPPLY = DEMAND AND SUPPLY = SIT THERE unless there are too much demand somehow

 

Yeah, your comment is agreeable but just by looking at past prices and now.

 

since the wild left the first time lots of items in the game have been lost due to the fact of Bounty hunter /oldbounty hunter And if there getting on bots more now . If jagex does start banning more account everything well rise Supply and demand manily for Food , herbs arrows Pking stuff etc. There expecting lots of player to return i see no reason why anything would drop. the reason that stuff is dropping now is that people want to start buying pking gear stock up etc. and also people are mass selling everything cause the fact of free trade well kill the g.e and that mean runescape "jagex" wont be in charge of prices anymore.

 

G.E. was prounce dead when they release the vote for old wild/free trades :nuts:

 

And thats the reason everything is dropping.
