its legit, phishers can not mask the domain unless they have put a virus on your computer which means you are already screwed so.

It is most likely an actual email from Jagex.

To be on the safe side however it's probably best you just delete any emails that ask for account information. It could easily be a silent drive-by that redirects to the actual vote.

EDIT: Got the same mail, checked the links, all were legit Youtube & Runescape.com links so I take back what I've said.

 

I'm almost positive it's a legit email. Everyone has gotten the same email including myself.

 

Almost all emails for runescape related stuff ARE scams or phishing attempts. Never click on a link or enter your password or user information on any of those forms!

BUT - in this case, it is legit. just check carefully the email address and the link you are clicking

 

yea i would bank on this, it's random from somewhere.
resellers are going to spam everyone till they hit a mark.

i get these phishing attempts all the time from fake battle.net / wow change your password and i've never even played those games.

 

If it redirects you to WWW.RUNESCAPE.COM it isn't a phisher.

if your email is registered to accounts they will send you emails you can prob unsubscribe

 

phisher, jagex never communicates with you over email unless its for an account recovery

 

Could be a phisher, could be legit. You don't have to worry as long as you don't download anything and you only login from the official RS website.

 

Check the source code if you really want to know. It's legit by the way, I get the same emails. You can unsubscribe at the bottom of the email at any time.
You're getting these emails probably because you added your email on the runescape website.
