Account Cleaning

I quite recently stumbled upon this:

It's basically them saying that if you're in a tug of war for account ownership they'll clear someones set of information and allow the account to be the sole ownership of one of the people wanting it.

What I'm asking is, has anyone on Sythe used this, if so could you give me some details on what the process is.

I'm thinking about using it basically because I've purchased an account and while nothing has happened I do believe I have sufficient information and would like to perhaps reset some of the information in my favour.

Anyway, if you've seen it, what are your thoughts and have you used it and is it a good idea? Basically just every question relating to this subject.

They will base off ip. If your account is bought do not do it.
Its only good for self-made accounts.

 

Im warning you don 't use it. I had a 137 main and used the account trial and had every single possible bit of information for the account and they locked the account because I wasn't the original owner. It's been locked for over 6 months and even with the most crucial correct information I cannot unlock it.


I also had a maxed turmoil pure and had enough info and successfully recovered it before. But the original owner took it back and used the account trial and its locked to him now. Even though I have the info I cannot get it back. They can tell you are not the original owner. Be warned. It is not safe unless you really are the original owner.

The thing is it can't just be based off IPs, people move all the time.

 

Yes this will only work if you are legit about all the information you give them and you are actually the original owner. They will heavily check this shit before giving the account to the person that posts on there.

You're stupid if you do it. It's not based off ips only. They check all kinds of different things. Ip changes, email changes, recovery changes, different playing times, how membership has been bought.

They compare it between the orginal owner and the person using it now too see if it matches.

There is more to it, but I know just that much. Also If someone ip changes from japan to united kingdom in one day then it's obvious when they check the I.P. Records.

And, yes. Ip's do change frequently, but that's just a dynamic ip, It still resolves to the same location.


Jagex doesn't lack common sense when doing an account trial. It's obvious if someone has bought an account.

Well, One of my old accounts got hacked and it was level 3 with a rare name and is it possible to get it back with this thread?

The guy leveled it so much.... its been over 3 yrs since i lost it

 

I tried testing out this theory, They locked my account and i failed 4 times to unlock it, I wouldn't say go and do it as it didn't work for me.

If you didn't create it, don't use the thread; simple enough.

Your account will be locked and all the stuff info you knew about it will be erased from the accounts history.

They even say in the thread "the ‘account clean’ team are experts at spotting things that are not quite right on an account – and have the tools to remove information linked to accounts which has been added by hijackers/sharers."
