Rap I consider good.

Though not a big rap fan, especially when it comes to newer stuff, there's some that I like a lot. Here are a few examples -

Your like me like a little of the new school, and allot of the old school rap, anyway what you know about "Regulate" haha. With todays music its just more or so beat's and random lyrics...Older school music actually had a message .....

 

I don't think I've ever heard anything by Nate Dogg that I didn't like. Anything with him + a gfunk beat =

 

Growing up in the 90's all i ever heard was Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Nate Dogg, and eminem. Still the best today in my opinion.

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one. There is a lot of good hip-hop out there, but you have to look hard. I could go on forever

 

Been listening to Eminem Drug ballad for quite awhile.

 

One thing I've notice fade away in today's modern music is the use of Turn table's they have been completely removed from today's music it seems like.

Also, hip hop does breach the borders of the United States. The UK and where I'm from, Australia, has fuckloads of talent. You may laugh at the idea of Australian Hip Hop but you'd be suprised. check it out

 

It's good to see hip-hop inspiring the entire World. Doesn't matter what race you are if you can spit. Here is some Danish hip-hop.

Nas, Gangstarr, A tribe called quest. i loved the 90's and wish i could go back just for the beats and rhymes.

 

2 Pac has some of the freshest beats.

Everyone so into the old school rap lol fair enough though got some good lyrics and all but im more into the new stuff. Check out some of kid cudi's new album.

 

Some of it really isn't that old school. I'll listen to any hip-hop as long as it isn't extremely mainstream. Most of it really lacks in talent and really doesn't sound good either in my opinion. There are also plenty of underground rap artists out there with a lot of talent. I've heard some of Cudi's new album and I really didn't like it at all. I wouldn't even consider it hip-hop.
