Email's from RuneScape??

Lately i been getting some email's from runescape with link's in but look very suspicious

1st one was like when you change your email on an account to another to get a code but it instead of saying any of my char's name's it said

Dear samurai280

i looked account up did not exist

i click reply was a weird email and 5 minute's ago i just got one with a link wanting me to vote for free wild in which u have to log in so i think it's a phiser and will deffo no click it.

here is pic of the reply email is it real or phisher :S:S:S if so need to watch it 2 diffrent one's both look quite good in space of 3 day's

 

With that email, I'm almost certain that's a phisher.

 

Definitely phisher, i always wonder who is dumb enough to fall for those. And even if they do get accounts, they probably suck.

 

ffs must be someone form sythe as this is only place that know's my email

reminds me of the ones from world of warcraft game which i've never been on

 

Nobody here on Sythe probably took it once you have created your email its all over the internet, not only here on Sythe.

 

Can't be from Sythe because I got the same mail on my private address.

it's not a phisher, when you open the link it takes you to runescape.com... if you opened the link and it wasn't runescape.com then it would be a phisher

 

Woah, now that's a laugh any phisher can take you to the Runescape home page, and still be able to hack your account. Just because it lets you go to the Runescape home page doesn't mean its not a phisher.

lol so you are saying if the link takes you to the official website and domain, it is also a phisher?
Jagex sends you emails through the email that you sign up the account to, you can turn off subscriptions, the first one you talk about sounds very fishy but the second one i think was a global email, why dont you just check the URL it sends you too. Unless your hosts file has been hacked, it is most likely real.

 

No. It's real, my personal e-mail has never been on a black market site but look.

 

I ALWAYS get world of jizzcraft emails and I've NEVER played it nor signed up on it.

But I recently got the Runescape email for the free trade. It was from Jagex though.

 

I got one too. But dont click on it to be safe, and dont run any java certificates if you do click on it. + you can just look at the link at the address bar.

 

The WoW one's are most likely phishers, but I haven't gotten an e-mail from RS (no e-mail's registered). So from what it looks like, the e-mail from Jagex is legit.

 

my vote is a phisher, in my experience, JAGEX WILL NEVER send you a email that includes using account info.

 

the OP picture you have is there email i believe, i remember getting an email chaneg request on my email from a scammer, and it has the [email protected] and i think it was like that

I got one from "Runescape" With a code to test out some new game they are making...like breaking dawn or something, it was on my email that is on my most valuable account.....I scanned the link and it came up clean....but you never know, these guys are getting trickier and trickier every day.
