I have a computer issue help please?

I wasn't sure where to put this as it isn't really under any other catagory but anyways here is my issue.

I accidently deleted my java folder in my [C:\Program Files\java] and now I can't uninstall it or update it or install a newer update. After tons of googling\deleting java registry files etc. I have gotten no where other than someone saying they fixed it by transfering the java files from another computer to his damaged one and he was able to uninstall. so I was wondering if anyone could give me these files [i believe it is still the latest version of java] or possibly a alternate solution

I'm running windows 7 if that matters thanks.

    Try the following things:

Open up a Windows Explorer Browers and type in 'Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features' then scroll down the list until you find Java, right click and try and 'Repair' it. If that doesn't work do the same thing but instead of repairing click 'Uninstall'.

    Then download this - http://rapidshare.com/files/441940369/JavaSetup6u23.rar
Extract it and run it, it should install the latest Java on your system.

    -------------

If the above doesn't work try your method of just replacing the java folder like you said. Here is mine - http://rapidshare.com/files/441940545/Java.rar
I doubt it will work though as you have already removed the Java registry files.

What error are you getting when you try to install a new version?

Also have you tried revo uninstaller pro? It deletes all the files of the program you select, including files in the register.
