iPhone comes to Verizon!!!

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!! www.vzw.com, you can preorder an iPhone to be used on verizon.

inb4 anyone outside the USA or on the east coast (I understand Nokia is prevalent there) disses on me, verizon is huge on the west coast, and the iPhone is even bigger. It's about time verizon gets a phone that's worth buying.

Do you like apple products, and more specifically, their iPhones? I'm a sucker for apples mostly because I'm more into graphics rather than hardcore gaming or computer building/modding... And they're just so simple and attractive and they work sooooo well (until they don't, but they usually don't break down within the first year or two.. their laptops that is)

I will admit their prices are ludicrous, but meh... I've gotten use to spending a lot for what I want, thanks to my job(Y)

 

Nothing new people knew about the phone already, im glad they selected a better carrier for the Phone though.

 

The better carrier might not be better. As from what i heard you have to see how verizon handles the amount of users are uses the Iphone.

 

This wont be a problem because they are more reliable then At&t and other companies, and they are uber awesome when it comes to customer service....Can you hear me now?.................Good

 

Verizon service is better all around, but it's hard to say without trying it out in person whether it'll be better, or even as good as when the iPhone was on AT&T

We'll see though, can't imagine it'll be too much different

 

Awesome. I have Verizon and it's very good. I never really have problems with anything, even though I live somewhat in the country part of my area (East Coast btw, the vast majority of my friends have/had Verizon at one point)

 

Apple products are overpriced. I will stick with my VZW Blackberry 8330 until it totally breaks, then I will see what new phones they have come up with then. I will stick with Verizon because in their service and coverage is unmatched in America.

 

True, but you gotta admit, 200 dollars for an iPhone is a pretty reasonable price considering. As an owner of a blackberry for well over a year, I'd still want to try out iPhone

 

I recently just got a Droid X from Verizon, if I would've known about the Iphone coming to Verizon sooner I would've probably gotten the Iphone. Honestly I love my Droid though.

 

I was thinking of buying the droid X, but I'm glad I waited, I've really wanted an iPhone for a while now, and would have been SOOOO mad to have gotten a brand new phone, just to see iphone come out the next month haha

 

Is this an Apple love affair here? I'll agree that the iPhone is a good phone, but why are we praising it? I'm happy for Verizon (and for consumers) that the iPhone is now available on a carrier other than AT&T. Verizon is my carrier of choice, but to be honest, I don't want the iPhone. Currently, there is a handful of better phones on the market throughout various carriers. Although that is subjective, I'm willing to explain why many Android devices are better.

 

i just found out about this the other day. i am so happy! i have always wanted an iPhone but have always been unable as i have verizon! now there is nothing holding me back, hooray

 

I'm praising it because I've yet to encounter a phone that equals it in my own opinion. As for android phones, I've never had one, but if I had to choose between two similarly priced phones-- iPhone or Droid-- I'd still choose iPhone because of how long I've been waiting for it. I'm one for a tease, I suppose

Also this summer there is a big chance of Apple releasing their new iPhone which will be 4g.

Verizon's coverage exceeds other networks by far

 

About time. But of course it happens when I'm about to switch over to Cricket.

 

Now I can actually get the iphone where I live.

 

Things I look for in a phone: Manufacturer, carrier, processing power, RAM, camera specs, screen resolution, HDMI capabilities, Flash support, OS, user interface, price, customization abilities, applications, SD card support, internal storage, keyboard, media file types supported, hardware buttons, battery, open source/not, etc.

Things you look for in a phone: Manufacturer and 'How long have I been waiting for it?'

 

They picked the best carrier to use it instead of the worst one. Great/smart move.
