RuneScape Help Section.

A specific section for users to ask questions/request help.

EG.
Treasure Trails.
Penguins
Circus
Quests Achievement Diary (or tasks now, w/e it is)
Wich bots are good for you

How to:
Craft
Slay
Bot properly
etc, etc, etc.

I (for one) Would love to help others out with things like this.

Just like we can go to PowerBot and RM for the market.
This will only increase activity.

If everybody just went to other sites to do things, Sythe'd be out of business.

 

Makes sense, but what would the runescape 2 general section be for?

 

Complaining about every update since 07.

This^ and I think it would be full of spam threads for example; what should I train, what should I buy, whats better ect.

 

i think this could be really helpful but like classics said, it would probably be full of spam so it would have to be watched a lot or have very lenient rules

Sounds like a decent idea.

Though Rs 2 General takes care of threads like this atm, sometimes it can be a little cluttered.

I'm also pretty sure Classics is right when he says it would be spammed.

Dunno if that makes it worth implementing.

 

I think it'd be a decent idea, but most threads AKA treasure trail help would be implemented into one sticky probably...which wouldn't help.

 

Seems there is a wide range of things that could be covered by a help section, I see no reason why there isn't already one. Nice idea =)

 

It could be a good idea to seperate questions from discussions. RS2 General is full of questions, I think it should be discussion based, and there should be another sub-forum for questions.

 

Will consider this, will put up a suggestion in S-L.

 

I'm pretty sure RS2 General cleans up most of this. I don't really see an issue about it right now, but it may be beneficial. Thanks for the suggestion.

 

Ok mate i havent been on here for years....anyway my question is i bought an acc from gold4rs....yea...I kno...But i have recovered that acc many times...Not cause it was hacked but because i thought it would give me a better chance of it not getting recovered...But i have the ip i use e mail...Ive changed recoveries like 30 times...Ive changed the pass like 30 times...Ive got it locked alot of times and im really active on rs formes...And ive made it mem a couple times with a credit card and address...Whats the liklyhood of him getting the acc?

This is just a suggestion to put it into the forums.

Although, On your question...
That really depends on what kind of info the other person has.
If you have done everything to prevent him from recovering it, It's all you can do.
But the original owner can always recover it if he still has all of the information.
Though you do not need to be too affraid of this, As most players just play it and forget old information over time.
