Account Sharing

Right on.

Just because I am questioning this rule doesn't mean I will share. In fact, I will never give out my password to anyone. I just want to have the rule taken away so that others, such as the April Fools Team, can have their harmless fun without being banned.

 

Allow "sharing"
If anything is hacked/scammed then both ip's are banned.
Simple.

Ban IP, not account. (Only if something was hacked/scammed via the account(s))

 

I think account sharing shouln't be allowed, will bring shit no matter what. but I think perm ban for it is a bit too harsh. a few weeks ban for warning I'd say? and for repeative offending I'd say perm ban.

 

Shouldn't be allowed because people would scam and only blame other persons for it cus they shared it with them.

Well I agree partially, but I think both accounts should be banned if any serious rules were broken.

It can't cause more shit than what already happens. If a scammer is going to scam, they will scam regardless. There is no easy way out if a scammer decides to scam on his friends account, as both accounts will be banned. It would be smarter (in the scammers point of view) to just scam on his account, and not get both accounts banned. (scamming is just an example, all serious offenses would be like this)

This wouldn't matter as both account would be banned, no questions asked. If you are willing to take the risk, be prepared to suffer the consequences.

 

As long as the other person on the account knows the consequences of what will happen to the account he/she is on if he/she does something, then that's perfectly fine.

i have no problem with long posts, but you barely hit the enter button and a wall of text is not a pleasure to read so people will go on without bothering to post.
Oh and for the infraction [mod or admin that shall not be named] I was trying to help.

Our current stance on account sharing does not need revision.
