Jacmob has left (Powerbot)

Yes, it is true, the main programmer of Powerbot has left. I am assuming the botting client will become even worse, as majority of the programming was done by Jacmob. The client was already detectable and now, I'm guessing bans will sky rocket.

 

I thought the main programmer was named Speljohan or something like that?

 

Maybe the person you mentioned has taken over, all I know is Jacmob was the main coder of Powerbot. He is also the person that cracked Nexus. Just to tell/show you how good of a coder he was.

P.S. You are in BGSU?

 

No like the old rsbot files used to have the other dude's name on the directory and everything ....

and nah I don't go to BGSU but I have friends who do.

Hmmm. Honestly I do not know, last time I was apart of powerbot, Jacmob coded. That was about 3 months ago, and I know that he just left a few days ago.

 

Free bots where shit before an will just become even worse.. Paid bots are the only way to go nowadays

He quit ages ago, I heard about this and they've got somebody else doing it who obviously wont be doing as good as Jacmob did. Powerbot will be terrible now.

 

I have to disagree. I've gotten two bans running Nexus and rsbots.net. Botted 1-99 wc and 1-80 Agility all on powerbot and I have never gotten any bans or rollbacks whatsoever. Botted 1-82 fishing on rsbots.net BAM banned. Botted 1-50 mining BOOM banned

 

I'm glad hopefully less people use that shit bot. People suicide accounts on pb then sell them here, few months down the track the account gets banned.

LOL. Speljohan was the creator of RSBot with some other dude, forgot who. But the other dude didnt want to split the profit of the ads and stuff with speljohan so he kicked him out. Speljohan went on to develop a bot names zetabot which never released cause jagex attacked him before he even released a beta.

Just for all the newbs that think RSbot is going to die. Please... RSBot will never die, there are too many people developing and modifying it, even if powerbot.org shut down, another site would start up, as u saw when RSBot.org went offline. RSbot has been around longer then NeXus has and isnt going anywhere anytime soon.

Anyways, since powerbot/rsbot is owned by gold4rs now, some guy name Leiang is becoming the main coder. I feel bad for them
