    NEW PC Question.

Hi sythe, I am buying an new pc, since my laptop sucks, for games etc etc..

I am thinking about buying an dell, but NOT an laptop, a Desktop.
The model I am prob buying is this one.

    Inspiron 580
    Intel® Core™ i3 Processor 550 (3.20GHz, 4MB)
    legit Windows® 7 Home Premium 64 BIT - DUTCH
    ATI Radeonâ„¢ HD 5450 1GB DDR3 graphics
    4096MB Dual Channel DDR3 [4x1024] Memory
    1 TB SATA-HDD(7.200 rpm)
DVD +/- RW Drive (read/write CD & DVD) with DVD Burn software

But my main question is, Can I play good games on this, Like
GTA VI with good graphics, and
    2 Worlds II

Without to much lag, I am more interested in GTA, Would is be possible to play it on that desktop with good graphix and no lagg?
And well runescape, but well don't think that is going to give problems.

And would it be better to take the Multi task faster option?
    6.144 MB 1333 MHz Dual Channel DDR3-history [2x2048 + 2x1024

I am dutch so I am sorry for my bad English.
(I hope this is the right forum to.)

    NEW PC Question.

You should get at least an i5 processor if you want to play games with decent graphics.

Other than that, that computer will be fine.

    NEW PC Question.

Well, for an I5 processor I would cost me 1,135.62 USD
would it really be bad if i stick with the I3 Processor?
And do u know other good gaming PC's with a good price?

    NEW PC Question.

Your i3 will most likely be able to play most games i guess...

As for a 'good prices computer', every computer in a retail store has markup on it (obviously). So your best bet is to buy the parts and put it together yourself. It's not hard to do. And you will save yourself a bit of money.

    ------------------

Just priced a computer for you on http://www.newegg.com/

    $914.91

    2gb HDD SATA
    i5 3.2 Ghz CPU
    4Gb DDR3 RAM
ASUS Sabertooth X58 LGA 1366 Motherboard
    650W Power Supply
Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB Video Card
    CD / DVD Burner
    Rosewell Black Gaming Tower
    Windows 7 Home premium 64Bit

You could probably save a further $200 if you drop to a different CPU (while still keeping it an i5), Video Card, Motherboard and Gaming Tower.

That setup above would probably cost you between $1,500 to $1,800 retail...

    NEW PC Question.

Not hard to put this shit together. These days they are literally colour coded and / or have everything labelled. You'll only need a small phillips head screwdriver to screw the parts to the box.

Worse comes to worse, i'm sure you could take these parts to your local computer shop and they would peice it together for you for around $100 (bit of a guess), but you would still end up with a better computer for less.

    -------------

And seriously, if you have a camera. you could just take photos of the parts and we (ie users of sythe) could guide you how to put it together.

    NEW PC Question.

the hardest part about installing them, is connecting everything to the motherboard. But like a said most shit is colour coded.

And just take photos of the parts and i could just draw lines on the photos on how to connect the parts together correctly. And in most cases the connections can't be mistaken for other connections (they mechanically only fit one way)

    NEW PC Question.

NewEgg ships to Canada as well, not sure about Mexico though.

Anyways, listen to what Covey says, he knows what he's talking about. Also, remember to get all the parts, if you're missing like a heatsink or something, you won't be able to finish your computer build. Also, one last thing, building your own computer usually will make it future proof for the next two to five years, depending on the motherboard you get. So if you need to upgrade your system because you think it's too slow in the next few years, you can usually do that.

Leetneo, newegg has it's own Canadian site. xP

And GTA IV is a very demanding game, so don't expect it to run flawlessly.

    NEW PC Question.

I obviously know that NewEgg has two different websites for North America, United States and Canada. They also have a website for China, but that's in Asia, I was talking about North America. NewEgg owns the NewEgg Canada and NewEgg United States, correct? If so, then why not say that NewEgg ships to Canada?

Don't get a dell, it's such a waste of money and it simply sucks.

Customize your own PC and build it yourself or pay someone a few bucks to do it for you. This is the only way to get a good computer for a reasonable price.
