Should I return to WoW?

I've had up to a level 80 paladin, it was holy spec. I enjoyed raiding and dungs..I played four or so hours a day. Not totally addicted but..eh. It's something to do in spare time. Cata is apparently pretty fun I hear. Should I return and play again?

I forgot my current account details, I'd have to call Blizzard and get them reset. Even then, I think I'd just buy an account with a level 80 Warlock or Druid and transfer it over to my account..I fuckin' HATED being a paladin. It was horrible.

Even then, it's a lot to pay just to get bored of it again. I find that WoW is fun..but it's extremely boring to play solo, you need to have friends to play with.

Opinions?

 

I'm also in this situation. I want to join back and start playing again but I don't know if it will be like before. When I used to play I had friends to play with and just now most of them quit or play on different alts or xfered and I have no idea who they are. Also I have Nonamekiller who is a dick now. icuviewing

There's more to it for me but if you're only concern is friends then you shouldn't worry. You'll make friends easily. Start by joining a guild.

 

I recently returned to find that all my old friends had quit or changed realms. I joined a new guild made alot of new friends. WoW is much more fun now.

 

I would join as dps to get the hang of it before you go rushing into cataclysm. It's worth coming back .

 

The game is much like Vanilla again, and this is good. However, for me WoW is getting seriously boring, because in truth, it's still the same thing all over again.

 

you cannot do this, in order to transfer a character from one account to another, you need both accounts under the same person's name. much of the information on an account can be changed, but your name os one of the things that cannot

 

I wouldn't come back. Cataclysm ruined the fun of the game for tanks and healers. I came back as Mainspec Tanks and every heroic is fucking impossible unless you have an epic setup of people who know what their doing. Its so frustrating you wipe all the time and pay insane repair bills. Theres so many idiots who have no clue what they're doing in heroics and the game is just hell for tanks and healers. If you return go dps. I went tank and I'm so tired of all the idiots and wipes i've been off the game for over 3 weeks now with no desire to return.

 

Figster stop psting me in-game, I DON'T LIKE YOU, I won't ever respond to anything you say. Stop making like 20 trial accounts, and stop lying because you're psting me everyday.

Yea, beacuse it's too hard to mark like 4 targets, have one sheeped, have one sapped, have one feared, etc......

It actually takes a small amount of work now for a heroic, it's not hard at all.

Cata is pretty fun IMO, much better than WOTLK.

 

It's worth coming back if you like the challenge of vanilla. A lot has changed, Heroics require CC and whatnot. You will probably end up disliking the game if you have to PuG all of the time, or are in a sub-par guild. I recommend getting back as quick as possible, so you aren't too far behind, and then getting in a quality guild.

There isn't really a large skill gap between casuals and hardcore raiders now, but there definitely is an armor gap.

 

I'd say now is the best time to return. It's the beginning of Cata and Cata has been very promising so far, especially for new players.

I don't even have WoW downloaded on my current laptop, you must feel really dumb. Last time I tried to contact you was when I needed a sor a few months ago calm your ass down.

 

I played during progression as resto/balance druid then quit once I was raid geared, I really don't like the new healing setup (inb4 L2P)

New healing setup:
-Triage healing, topping people off isn't worth it
-Watered down heals
-Can't heal through stupid
-Worry about mana and stack spirit

If you're going to resub, I wouldn't recommend going druid, we didn't get much out of cata.
