Just a thought...

I was just thinking, seeing as people are saying that Runescape may not be updated and "left behind" a few years down the road simply because it's getting old and it's loosing more players - Do you think it may be because they can't fully STOP botting and they may be getting sick of all the bots in the game?

Maybe they see the solution as let it be, catch what they can, and move on with another game possibly?

Thoughts?

 

World of warcraft is another very popular game and if im right (i may be wrong) many people bot on WOW and its still popular and racks in more people every day.

 

Moving on is too much of a risk for Jagex tbh.

They run the possibility of losing a huge portion of their playerbase.

I don't think they're going to give up, nor that they plan to give up, on Runescape until it dies down itself.

 

yeah i think itll die naturally, not by Jagex pulling the plug.

 

They do have a new game coming out sometime this year. It's called Stellar Dawn, google it.

 

Not that many people bot on WoW, plus WoW is fun for lvling tbh and runescape gets really boring for lvling :/ They'll focus more on other games but I bet this will be the best money maker for a few more years.

People are so fucking egoistic in this game, that it almost makes me vomit.

That's not true. I've been playing that game for, I don't even wanna know how long (I stopped after Cata came out). And I've never heard of botting, or anyone botting in it. And I played that game ALOT each day.

 

My mate bots 24/7 on wow every day...

 

I'm not saying NO one does. Some does, but NOT many.
