The Runescape Revival? Jan 14 2011

With the bringing back of the old wilderness and free trade would that mean that the so called runescape being dead be reversed or has there been irreverisble damage done? Will people return back to the way it used to be? Will runescape be more fun? But if you think about it itll be a massive craze because the people who mastered this new system will complain about the old system coming back what will Jagex do then? Honestly im happy old pk will be back all i really wanted was to pk with my pure =)

I honestly don't think enough people will complain about it being reversed for it to matter.
the most popular and vocal people (youtube heroes) will not complain about it without a doubt.

As for my view on the matter.. I love it. It really sucks that you can't get people's things they lose when you kill them. My account is made for pking and get lots of kills but my luck with drops is so terrible that I don't even make money pking now, with the old system back I'll at least get their armor when they die.

 

I think more people will probably come back but not as many as there used to be.

 

To those of us supporting the return; this is nothing but good news. The gold that we win via Staking/Pking is now worth more? The items that we use to PK and Stake will cost less?

Not to mention this is how it used to be. Lawwl. I was sick of RS being so carebear.

Off-Topic - expect a gold shop and staking videos...Runescape will interest me again, along with HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of others; it's funny how people complained about the referendum being sooo fake because there was only a yes option and it has 1.1 million votes. Guess what? The real thing has 1.1 million votes as well. GF.

But everyone look now that this is all back will leveling services be more valuable and Gold prices go down or what cuz every1 will want pures made asap with like 1 or 2 money making skills but they can also just buy like 10m gold and then just level it them selves it so confusing i mean when free trade comes about i have about 1bill in wealth over 17 accounts idk if i should sell it right away or wait and see how the prices go this is confusing

 

There's been damage done. It's still very very carebear. Take into account gravestones, border guards, wildy wall, etc.

It won't be returned to its former glory but it'll be close to it. Not sure how close though, that's up to Jagex.

 

Luring in my opnion just legit take everything off back to 07
