I also reported Luring for being scamming.

But the mods talked it over in the staff lounge and allowed it.

i would catagorize it as scamming. you're obtaining items through devious methods.

You're taking advantage of in-game mechanics along with people's greed to profit. That is not scamming.

I don't consider luring as scamming. all you do is getting ppl to where you want.. not your fault if they get killed (A)

They make the choice to enter the wilderness based on their own greed, any rich player more than knows the dangers of entering the wilderness.

would you not agree that it is attaining items or wealth via deceitful means?

sure you must aknowledge that it is the case, and therefore a "class" of scamming. it may not be as bad as others... but scamming either way?

It is not scamming by any chance. They walked into the wildy, and they know they can die. They choose to go in because of personal greed.

The person involved makes the choice, the lurer has done nothing to force their hand. I.E if someone sees a cash pile in the wilderness and decides to go into the wilderness, where they may be attacked by people of the same level, they themselves have made it possible to be killed and lose their items(which Jagex have warned not to bring if they cannot afford to lose them).

ehhhh, I always thought it was scamming, but who said that would stop me? lol its a dog eat dog world out there so who can stop me from throwing a nice juicy steak out there with the lvl 36 poisoning tribesman? Tbh, I would call it scamming because they are usually following you to wherever your taking them under false pretenses, BUT, its runescape, its a MMO so don't trust everyone you meet, just like in IRL. I think its a good lesson-teacher myself, getting scammed myself taught me to do it so well, so it all plays out in the end.
