Other Games Section V2.0

These are two different ways that the section could be laid out, using one orginization method.

Method 1:

Organize the forum based on topics of conversation, so that the forum would appear like:

Suggestion

I would like to request that the staff look over these two suggestions, and decide on whether or not they are both plausible. The names of the forums that are put in each suggestion can be changed, as long as the way it is organized stays the same. If the staff deems both to be plausible I feel that the final decision on which one to use should be left up to a community vote, as the members are going to be the ones using the forum and the staff’s personal preference shouldn’t take precedence over the member’s opinions.

 

I support the idea as a whole (you know this lmao), but I am leaning towards method 1. The layout is simple and appeals to me, which is what matters, since it's my opinion. I feel like it is missing a board though...

I think you should remove method 2 to be frank with you. A majority of gamers on here seem to like the mainstream games above others, and they are often multi-platform.

I would also like to see a sectional run the Other Games section, preferring SuF over others.

 

I don't like the second suggestion, but that doesn't matter.

We are going to have some confused members if method 2 is enacted.

 

Well, then most of the members would have wanted that method so it would be out of our hands. The staff won't go for just changing it, so thing might help them change it at all.

 

But why vote for method 2 in the first place? There's no clear place to post a thread on a game. If I wanted to post a thread about TF2, where do I take it? PC or Console? It could be either and there are some differences between the games on their respective systems.

I don't mind if you keep it, I just think the proposition should be removed as a whole.

 

I like the first option. It would be more clear and diverse as to what and where to post things.

I was trying to give the staff a way and reason to change thing. Let the users decide. Its their forum, so let them choose.

Its not organized in any way now. Console gaming at least has to be removed.

 

Looks good, i mean right now its all clustered up. I mean a FPS could appear on both PC + console, now how do we know where to start from there. Making it so we know what platform/console we are talking about will definitely clear things up. E.G. MW2 exists on both PC and Consoles.

Method 2 is my pick.

 

As for my thread about Method #2, I noticed it was moved to the "denied suggestions" without reasoning. The "Other Games" forum needs a fix, and the staff just can't see it, I guess.

Both methods would really beneficial and really clean up that forum. So, you have my support. I'd like to see this implemented.
