There is a quiet a few things I remember about Runescape back in the day.....

1.) I remember when Lummy had no bank...
2.) I remember going to general stores for a good deal....
3.) I remember buying stuff in varrock to sell it in fally....
4.) I remember when almost every world had a full game of castle wars going....
5.) I remember when it was next to impossible to get into zammy team....
6.) I remember following some guy with guilded armour because he said he was "having a drop party"
7.) I remember trust trades....
8.) I remember fally mole luring....
9.) I remember trying to drop trade my broken barrows to my main =(
10.) I remember when mith kites were rare...
11.) I remember killing goblins for a good 5 minutes to get 10 gp to got to al-kharid...
12.) I remember luring low-levels to the Dark Wizard Circle south of Varrock, where the level 20 wizards could 2-hit KO them. Got fully Wizzy Gold and probably a good 20-million total =)(sonic_fanrs )
13.)I remember when the dragon chainbody was released and it was like a revolution. (blindkilla)
14.) Being scammed for my black armor thinking it could be trimmed.(chargers1677)
15.) Accidently selling my adamant plate body to the varrock general store.(chargers1677)
16.) I remember people holding your axe heads for ransom. (.Steam.)
17.) I remember when everyone used runehq to find prices. (Classics)

People used to make fun of noobs by saying "Can you take me to the bank in Lumbrige?" -- of course, now there actually is a bank in lumbrige.

And, I still do number 11 on some of my accounts =)

I remember luring low-levels to the Dark Wizard Circle south of Varrock, where the level 20-wizards could 2-hit KO them. Got fully Wizzy Gold and probably a good 20-million total =)

And, don't forget the old Wine Of Zamorak scam. "Get the wine, it sells for 1 million gp!!!".

It was horrible when Lumbridge had no bank, I remember running to Draynor.
Anyone remember when Draynor had no bank? Oh the times. W'bout sleeping bags in RS2 Beta ? :love:
I remember seeing Adamant Platebody being sold to General Store, it cost 16.000gp to buy it, and I thought that nobody has that crazy cash
Also, I remember finding ~10 trouts on the floor, and selling the to Al-Kharid general store, and thought I was rich.

Sold my pink partyhat for 100K Ended up forgotting the accounts password.
When I had my first rune weapon, a longsword I was lvl 52-ish, and run into the Wilderness. Back then there was this kind of ground wall between Monastery and Edgeville, and I had to go around it. My level pures attacked me and hit constant 12s and 13s. I made it to monastery, and picked up cabbages from the floor. Then went to pk with them
I lost my Rune Longsword to a scam. A guy was yelling "Buying tile 1M" and other one was selling it for some amount on gp, can't remember. Of course I traded my Longsword to a tile

I'll add more if something comes into mind

 

Here are some things I remember about my early RS days:
1) Being scammed for my black armor thinking it could be trimmed.
2) Being scammed trying to buy granite mauls.
3) No tele-other spells.
4) Camping bandit camp in the wilderness making pizzas with friends.
5) Accidently selling my adamant plate body to the varrock general store.
6) The days of charcoal and spinach roll scams.

And so on.

 

I remember being smithing at Varrock back in 2005, with the "Adventure" music track on.... I miss the good old days

 

1. I remember people holding your axe heads for ransom.

I remember seeing a level 4 with full black g and Silverlight or w.e and i thought he was one bad mother fucker.

 

I remember drop parties above seers bank.
I remember when everyone used runehq to find prices.

hahaha, I remember getting lured to wilderness and losing my fire staff, I was a mage then and was poor as hell, actually spent like 30 minutes begging the guy to give it back because I couldn't afford another one. Then months down the road me and my bro were rich pkers, and he got conned into going to brimhaven with his bank to "prove he had more money than this guys friend", damned poison GF'ed him and his 6 mil, which was freaking rich back then.

The good thing is that we ran that same brimhaven scam for weeks after it happened, ended up getting like 50 mil collectively from it, but this was right before FT and wilde were removed, so can't wait to try it again!

I also remember alot of stuff:

watching fishing bots get owned by the troll random?

chilling at varrock square waiting for some noob to teleport in from being piled in wilderness and dying as soon as he tele's in, then piling his loot trying to get something

actually being able to share loot with your fellow cc members because they havn't gotten a loot in ahwile

showing someone "blue money (i.e. 10mil +)" and having them practically jizz themselves.

giving someone 1 mil and having them actually jizz themselves

killing cows for cow hides to sell in alkarid? lol, made my first 100k like this, 1000 cow hides, took me all week to get them all, I was so proud.

actually mining iron and coal to make steel bars to sell for a profit, 600gp each plox?

being able to alch for profit when you could buy yew longs off people

BS's and SS's!!!! (bank sales or big and small sales!!) like a rs yardsale!

one itemers who were actually nice and not complete dick heads, nowadays they hit you just to tick you off for no reason, lol I used to actually give loot to one itemers when they helped me or when they provided good conversation when I was pking.

Killing mages and getting tons of runes!! magic used to be an actual combat choice, not an accessory skill like it is now.

the day I couldn't attack anyone in the wilde and I didn't know why?!?

I remember when you had to get hit 3 times before you could run
I remember when gathering runes at the castle in the wild was good cash
I remember when 1 million was a lot of cash
I remember when you couldn't KO someone with pray alone

Ha, I remember when I ACTUALLY worked for 2.2M to buy the Dragon Med. That is probably the ONLY 2m I have ever actually hardcore played to work for. Was fun. This was back in classic I am pretty sure.

I also remember going to the KBD in classic and watch people die. I got SO excited that someone died and I got there glory!
