I have decided to reply to your comment first as its a bit of a hobby trying out different types of stakers, However I do not know how much rs and its players have actually changed but from previous experience I would recommend either a maxed account (AS LONG AS YOU ALWAYS GET FIRST HIT AUTOMATICALLY OR WITH MOVEMENT ON)

OR an account with 1 prayer 1 summon, a defense level around possibly 55-59 as it will not rank on the highscores and ofcourse 70+ attack with 91+ strength. The accounts im using, one will be just under maxed, the second will be the account iv just described, so if it works well for me im sure you will do well also.

just want to stress the importance of first hit, through alot of reasearch I found that indicators that can help is a good computer, above average high speed interenet and playing runescape on the lowest detail possible.

I am currently using 50mb cable broadband with under 10ms ping, which is the fastest in the uk, im sure other people have a similar connection to that so you want to possibly get something there or above, computer wise, an average comp will do the job with low settings on the comp and on rs with nothing else open to improve your chances, follow theese steps and you will have a large advantage.

 

Your post has now made me question what type of account to make... I was/am currently in the process of a Verac Pure..

well since first hit is gone your possibly going in the right direction maybe 85+ attack 90+ defense with like 50 str? not my field for armour on staking, but obviously it will give you an advantage if you do armour on staking against simliiar combat levels, but with 1 prayer, as long as you have an advantage you will win more stakes overall, just stick to your guns while staking and try to minimise high risk stakes which could end up getting you cleaned, for a stats boost and gold for staking you could try gold farming which is like 1$ per m and it lets you choose a skill to train while the money's being made, I rekon thats not a bad deal.

 

First hit is gone? I've been in duel arena and it doesn't seem to be.. People do not hit at the same time.
As for Defence, I'm worried about getting it because of people not staking me because of it.. The newer weapons won't be helping either.

I will most-likely get a minimum of 75 defence for full 3rd age + DFS.

I'll be botting a majority of my stats so all's good and I have little over a bil which I'll be spreading over some accounts.. Luring will hopefully be bringing me in a good amount. Making a small private team even while helping run the clan.
