Related to Off-site Activities (and an OMM suggestion)

Since I have an absolutely different view on how off site activities should be dealt with, I decided to make my own thread, merged with my suggestion as to what to do regarding OMMs (instead of making their own sub-forum).

    Off-Site Activities Suggestion:

Basically, I propose that people who are found to have scammed on another website to be given a TWC. However, TWCs, in my opinion, are almost meaningless. They give no insight as to why the person has one, and that person can make up a story if the person(s) they are dealing with do not know how to conduct a proper search. Therefore, TWC icons should be made click-able and lead to a post stating why the person was given the icon. If no current staff member feels they have the time to make a compiled write up, I volunteer to do so (you could hide the username on each post, etc). I could even look up every single user with a TWC and do a small write up on them so long as I can find out what happened, and keep up with new TWC recipients. I just want to see this get done because I've seen too many people get scammed or cheated in one way or another over the past few years due to lack of security.

If someone has done something that goes against Sythe's rules, and is not related to scamming, on another site, I believe they should be either dealt with as if they had done it here, or left alone. Either way, it needs to be set in stone as to what will happen.

    OMM Suggestion:
(From the thread regarding an OMM sub-forum.)

A TwC means exactly what is says. Trade with caution. You are trading with the user at your own risk. I still think if someones off-site activities is in no way damaging the site or the users of it then it shouldn't warrant a ban.

I think an OMM sub-section would be suitable, it would essentially function the same way the guides section works.

The OMM suggestion seems to be golden to me. It'll flag out like a message for anyone looking for a OMM instead of just any other MM.

The TWC can be repealed out of good conduct. I believe it gives the offender time to recuperate and change himself for the better before becoming trusted again. So i think its a good tool instead of an actual ban.

Don't support either suggestions. OMMs have the '[OMM]' in their thread titles and if people are dumb enough to not see that, then they don't even deserve to have a computer.

There's always a risk, regardless of who you're trading with.

    You're so smart.
There I pointed it out for you, please read before you post.

Also I support both ideas, although I think the staff responsible for the issuing of the TWC should have to write up a small report of why they have it.

Trade with Caution is self explanatory, if one has it trade with extreme caution.

And we won't give OMMs colored names nor bold threads for the time being.
