Pmod leak was proven fake, real leak here

you honestly think pmods will confirm it on the rs official forums?? no, they are going to claim its fake

 

Dude it's obvious you, and perhaps a few others, are attempting to merch seer rings. Just give up, you have been foiled.

 

If it was real they would have just closed it and hid his post.

 

THIS IS A FAKE!!! it was supposed to say that they are adding sick magic damage bonus's to BROODOO SHIELDS!!! only the green ones though so stock up before the update!!!

lmao, i couldnt care less about seers rings, but the fact you think people who are mods on the RSOF are going to confirm it to the public on the RSOF, deee dee deeeee that would get their mod stripped away, and it is closed.

 

thats why u cant even buy seers rings for max? because some1 is dumping? makes no sense

 

Well, after reading through runescape forums, which has 3 threads already locked "leaking" this information, and thinking about the other forums that get just as many if not more users and guests per day reading through the runescape sections looking for leaks such as this, I could see how a fake "merch" to dump alot of stock could be possible. Im not saying your running all of this, you might legitimately think this is going to happen, you might not even have seers rings in stock yourself, so not trying to "catch you" or anything, just saying if a large clan such as smokin mils or similar with there own website and thousands of followers were to need to dump an item they stocked up on, This would be the perfect way to ensure they had buyers always.

All speculation of course, but it's the best I can come up with since its doubtful they would increase magic damage even more with a single item that's already in game, instead of adding NEW content to the game to even out the triangle.

 

Just for clarification purposes, smokin mils were merching crushed nests and started dumping those yesterday...

and to the fact of adding new content, they are developers of a game and want people to explore all facets of the game. the amount of people that dag king still is continually going down because the fact that they arent very good money anymore.. by adding a bonus to an existing ring, 1 it saves them the time to have to code an entire new item and code an entire new monster to drop said item, and will bring people back to dk's.... just my 2 cents and thoughts on it.

 

yea, Im not trying to be confrontational or anything. And I said a clan "LIKE" smokin mils, I already checked there website and cc so I knew it wasn't them specifically. Was just stating that the rise could have false pretenses with ANY large and efficient merching clan. Personally I thought Jagex didn't really show a trend of reusing content, and the man-power to code an item into the game and a new monster doesn't seem to be much of an issue for the Jagex team. With all of the new treasure trails items, and the entire new boss room awaiting us with new monsters, new drops including a new bow and a whole new set of armor with the first constitution boosting effects in the game, I doubt they would reuse an old ring to try and make an attempt at rebalancing the triangle with such a simple change.

If anything, and im hopeful on this, they would just introduce a new magic book, its long overdue and the current magic books have already proven that with the current gear and bonuses and effects they just aren't up to par with the other combat styles as far as effectivness. A new book with possibly more versatile spells and an armor set that must be worn to use the book (to keep people from using the new spells as accessories like the current ones are), would be the perfect fix to the magic corner in the triangle, plus jagex loves writing in material such as this with some semi-corny story lines in a new quest, so they could have a field day with this.

AGAIN, all speculation, just giving you my two cents as well. =)

 

yeah, but if u also take a look at the graph, seers rings were already crashed and back to their stable price, and they are bought out already cant even get them for max.

simplicity is key for making simple changes to fix current problems.. why would they go out of their way to add new monsters and extra items when a simple thing as adding a stat to a ring would fix the mages being underpowered..

same with you, not being confrontational, just my thoughts

 

If they did add a boost to the ring it would probably be 5% - 10%

I'd say that the Seer's ring one was edited and is fake, but the one about pk videos and uninstalling flash are original.
