    Proof that it's their Discord: messaged on discord and on sythe begging me to file a report calling me a dog. Scrreenshots posted.

    Explanation of the trade: He convinced me to login and then added the account to his jagex launcher. I was dumb enough to think he would need a confirmation from me first before doing that. He then proceeded to try to flip it on me and call me the scammer.

    also as you can see from the screenshots he has edited 99% of his messages to some nonsense. he also deleted several messages one stating "gf accounts LOL"

    edit i just got home from work i originally gave him the info to BOTH accs which is why I was saying he stole both in the screenshots because i assumed he did. turns out he ony stole the range tank. i had the email to the range tank linked to my phone and not the other one so i assumed he took both. it showed he imported it at 8:24 as shown in the screenshot which is right after i sent him the info.

    @OSRSjake, please add a GIF of his Discord unique ID. Also, could you add some of the previous chat logs?

    A Discord display name is not valid proof. Your report MUST INCLUDE the following Discord proof to be considered valid:
    1. A screenshot of their Discord Profile (Example)*
    2. A Gif or recording of you collecting their Discord unique ID (Example)
    3. An explanation of how you made the connection between their unique ID and Sythe profile.
    *Note: Even with a screenshot of someone's Discord profile you will likely be asked for #2 as well.

    How to view someone's Discord profile
    1. Right click their name either at the top of your DM with them (Example)
    2. Click view profile and screenshot it (Example)
    How to collect someone's Discord Unique ID
    1. Start off by going to User Settings at the bottom left of Discord (Example)
    2. From there click Advanced and scroll down to enable Developer Mode (Example)
    3. After that you will be able to right click someone's name either at the top of your DM with them and copy their unique ID (Example)
    How to make a GIF
    1. Download and install Sharex from getsharex.com
    2. Once you have it open click Capture and then Screen Recording (GIF) (Example)
    3. Select the area you would like to capture and then collect the Discord unique ID as explained above
    4. Click stop once you are finished, Sharex will automatically upload the GIF to Imgur and copy the link to your clipboard

    The discord unique id and discord name don't match, do you have anything else to prove it is the same user?

    no i guess thats it i admit defeat he wins i guess. seems clear as day to me with the evidence provided. calls me a dog on discord and a dog on sythe profile. has screenshots of a fake convo with himself right after the scam. idk what else to do.

    not sure what that means. not too informed about discord unique ids etc. unfortunate because its obviously the same guy but he has some loophole to where he doesnt get banned scamming people.

    Unfortunately, this case seems like it was an impostor, the only way to verify if a user owns Discord is by Discord's unique ID (discord uid) and unfortunately in this case they don't match, the discord uid in the report is 1205329892460466239 vs jake uid is 257488453682462723 . We do have stickies all over the forums warning people of these scams: [Important] Confirm who you are speaking with on Discord!

    @OSRSjake I'm sorry for your loss but unfortunately it was impostor scam.
