    Avoid getting banned for RWT?

Free trade update isn't there yet, but once it is, rwt is obviously going to skyrocket and I'll probably be buying some mils as well, and probably jagex will be a lot more alert on that sort of stuff.

How is it possible to avoid getting banned for it once the update comes out? I'm asking because my main actually got permanently banned for RWT back on 2006, I'd like to avoid that this time.
Maybe just staking instead of trading?

Probably just staking/pking as I don't think they will ban people for winning a stake or killing some one.

    Avoid getting banned for RWT?

    simple solution
    1.make a new account

2.when you buy the gold from the buyer get it on the new account first then to ur main

i think this will work...not 100% guaranteed though

    edit:

    this is pretty good

You would probably be better trading/staking it in items rather than plain cash.

    This.

It will be the best way in my opinion, what would be better is if you use an item worth more than you ordered, then trade the cash to the seller that equals the amount you ordered if you get my drift, this way it looks like your buying an item cheap.

I still say staking, I mean they aren't going to moniter the thousands of stakes every day to make sure that the fight was uneven, just make sure you both put up the same amount so that it looks like a risk for both, and then just have one account win, w/e, they arent going to make sure you really tried in the fight, LOL.

    Jagex message in you inbox:

"we regret to inform you that you have recieved a permanent ban. In your recent stake of 10 million gold pieces, you didn't dds spec as soon as the duel started. Also, you had brews and runes in your bank and failed to use them. Why didn't you farcast that noob? you would have won and he would be receiving this message for not remembering to disable magic for the duel, sorry don't let this happen again, love Jagex."

It may seem absurd but they will be heavily monitoring RWT. Don't think just because free trade is back that its going to be like the old days of simply transferring cash/items. Think of it, why would they bring it back if they didn't have new ways to catch you RWTing.

I don't think it is so much that they have a handle on botting/RWT, I believe its more internal. They suddenly rid rs of old wilde because of credit card fraud problems, and only way to stop it was to eliminate RWT immediatly, but now there new "handle" on the problem is at the root I believe. They have discovered ways to diter lawsuits not RWT. I'm not saying you won't suffer repercussions if you trade the 4mil your sorc garden bot makes every couple of days to your main, but If your smart about it and make the wealth transfer look innocent, I doubt they will know the difference.

I have done that before, and not only did they ban the account that the gold ended up on, but they banned my other account and my friends account too, any account that had the gold onit.

that was in 06. I think staking would be your best bet at a safe transfer. id make sure to risk something too

That's what I used to do, and never got banned. Although I drop traded it from noob account to my main account.

I wouldn't do trading through staking, everyone I know who did this got banned.

Deffinately staking is the best way to go about transferring as mentioned they can't crack down on staking its impossible. If your stupid and trade 100mil to your other account then you possibly could get banned.

^ Illustrates that we have no clue what will happen, hence why I'm going to wait and see what ban rates are like before I move the cash.

Mordafrem? how did someone get banned by using staking?

IF you have equal stakes on both sides of the duel, there are two different IP's one for each account (i.e. you on your goldmule and them on there receiving account) and you actually fight a bit but like let them pray and eat and stuff, then I don't see how anyone could distinguish between a RWT money xfer and a fight gone bad. I mean people legitimetly lose and gain alot of wealth through staking every day, none of which is RWT so if you mimic there actions, I don't see how they could say one fight is real, one fight was set up?

Just take precautions, for god sake's don't have each other added as friends, LOL, and make sure you both actually stake the same so it looks like a legit staked duel.

Its not against the rules for a friend to give you money on rs is it? and if its not, how will they tell its not just someone giving their friend money?

    Avoid getting banned for RWT?

After reading through all this thread, it seems like RWTing will be much harder to perform. In my opinion, Staking would be best way to RWT.

Would Jagex do anything if the levels were not the same, like two fighters and in between their combat level, there was a big gap? This is harder than I ever expected...

Just make sure you add all your accounts that you wish to transfer from. Better safe than sorry.

    Avoid getting banned for RWT?

It is topic reply's such as this that get people banned, especially when their is no 100% way to be exempt from RWT. Before the grand exchange, I tried this method and was simply slapped on the wrist with a "permanent ban."

Jagex aren't stupid, they will tie accounts, and other accounts into place and figure out what you are doing. This is one of the easiest methods of detection, simply because you are purposely going against, and are aware that RWT is against the rules and are finding loop holes around the system.

Hence punishment will be far worse.
To be honest, Ive seen people receive temporary ban's for RWT.
