About Jagex' "old username clearing"..

Is there any way to see what letter they are on? There is a username which starts on M which I want alot, but I have no idea what letter they are on atm. Could anyone enlighten me?

Well it's not ranked. What I mean is, they clear out names in alphabetical order, and I want to know when they come to M.

 

Thats kind of impossible to do.. Just because a name you think is rare is available doesn't mean there on that letter.

 

Well, I've heard they're still on Ch0 and are focusing on the Wilderness update for now. When they're done, they'll get back to clearing names. Not sure if it's true, just something I heard in 'CC of Names'.

One of the members came here to sell names and he had quite a collection as well. Maybe get him banned from cc as well?

He used his Rs name as Sythe name.

Guess you're one of those new people who try to get display names all the time. Trust me I have many better ones don't you worry about it..

 

If you had good display names, you'd know that I can't get new display names, since JaGEx stopped clearing them.

And I've some GOOD ones, I own a rare name shop.

i really want to know if they are past F yet, i've got a really good name that i know for sure is not used for years and not on highscore

They have indeed stopped at Ch's for now, the reason I'm not entirely sure but it could also be that people are just hoarding them on level 3 accounts....which is against the very reason they started to clear them in the first place. They want people who will actually use the names to get them, not put them on some account you will login like once on.
