Removal of Trade limit -vs- Rare Prices

1. What prices (US$) do you think rares will rise to?

Very big bones, because you would be able to get billions for them instantly, so if you will want to buy rares, you will need to spend thousands.

2. What prices (US$) will RSGP rise to?
Atleast 2 dollars per mill or even more.

3. Will the trade limit removal change the price of lower rares? masks/santas.

I personally already stocked up on mills to sell them for high price in a few months.

Think about it.. back in the day when people used to trade you like 100 santa hats..

when the trade limit came out they were restricted..

 

I think high rares will be minimum 600m (purple) then going to around max cash (blue/cracker)

 

Yes, I def think that mills will rise back to 5 again or higher

 

I honestly think prices of rares will drop ingame but thats just me, i think price of gp will go down for sure but also i think supply and demand for pk supplies will make those prices rise for the first couple weeks then they'll start to level out hopefully to pre grand exchange merchanter times.

 

ive noticed lower phats have dropped dramatically in game
purple's are being sold for 650m now instead of 1.2bil.

 

When were they sold for 1.2 bil?!?

There are mixed feelings on rares, some people are saying hold onto them while others are saying get rid of them asap. :s only time will tell

 

that is exactly right, but if every1 panics and trys to sell all at once, it makes the supply higher then the demand which is causing them to drop.

if no one " panic sold" rares they wouldnt drop, people have to remember, rares may drop a little, but they will always re rise.

every day more people are playing rs, which makes rares more rare,
eg. 1000 people play rs, there are 900 phats. obviously they arent ganna rise because 90% of the rs population have them, the supply will be greater then the demand but
if you was to say there are 1,000,000 people who play rs, and there are still only 900 phats that means not even 0.01 of the rs population are able to get them self a phat which makes the demand greater then the supply.

with ever new account, with every rare staying off the market (kept in bank)
makes the rares rise.

 

Some people buy rares just for merching purposes however, not because they are only a few left. Phats were so hard to get because the GE never really managed to capture the price people wanted them for. With goods being so easily tradeable with the update I have a feeling everything will drop.

 

they are going to crash when the update comes out. the party hat buyers today are'nt saving up 500m from skilling, and buying a hard earned partyhat. they are an item traded only among wealthy traders and the high price makes partyhats almost unobtainable to normal players. with the capped trade partyhats are almost a sure-fire profit these days, no merchant with half a brain would sell him partyhat while its rising this much. and they are only rising because other merchants constantly have offers in for buying phats, hoping to buy it at trade price and sell it at its 'imaginary price' for profit.
but when the cap is released, partyhats will no longer be forced to be sold at markey price. so when someone is trying to sell a phat 500m in the fourms, and no regular players are around to buy it at the inflated price, they will be forced to accept 490m, 480m...with free trade people will panic sell anything underpriced afraid of being stuck in a crash.

also its not unheard of for rares to abrutly crash, i remember a while after the GE came out partyhats began crashing as 3rd age gained value, party hats became PURE JUNK, and people had to offer their 3rd age as a 'currency' to entice someone to buy their junk. so all the phat owners rushed to buy 3rd age, flooding the GE with offers and making 3rd age sky rocket, with its street prices raising hundreds of millions (about the price of a phat).

a few weeks later the tables turned, 3rd age was dumped and started crashing, and since peoples 'currency' to sell partyhats became worthless, everyone assumed that partyhats were once again worth hundreds of millions. then people were having to offer partyhats with their 3rd age to entice buyers.

this all goes to show how fluctuating the market is, and how easy it is to corrupt, EVEN with the ge and price caps. what if people offer partyhats to buy the new godwars items, and when the items devalues with bulk drops partyhats became junk again?

 

i just hope its gonna be possible to buy the bow lolz

It will fall hard for few months then stabilize at 1$

No these will have the same fate as all rares.

Someone could hoard all the high rares and up their price .
