    2010 Highest Grossing Films

This year's 10 highest-grossing films worldwide include five sequels (six if you count Alice in Wonderland), four animated films, and six that were released in 3D.

The Hollywood Reporter has the rundown of 2010's ten biggest moneymakers. Here they are in order of their worldwide grosses:

    Toy Story 3: (Disney/Pixar) $1.06 billion

Alice in Wonderland: (Disney) $1.02 billion

    Inception: (Warner Bros.) $825.4 million

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1: (Warner Bros.) $824.1 million

Shrek Forever After: (Paramount/DreamWorks) $739.8 million

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse: (Summit) $693.5 million

    Iron Man 2: (Paramount/Marvel) $621.8 million

    Despicable Me: (Universal) $540.2 million

How to Train Your Dragon: (Par/D'Works) $494.9 million

Clash of the Titans: (Warner Bros.) $493.2 million

Eh, I only saw 3 of the movies - Harry Potter, Inception and Clash of the Titans.

Saw TS 3, Inception, Shrek forever After, Iron Man 2 and clash of the titans.

TS gave me a few tears when i realized TS is over. Ten years for #3 and it all ends there </3

Alice in Wonderland should have made less while Despicable me and How to Train Your Dragon should have made more :(

    Without a doubt.

Kind of surprised by this one, but since it's Disney, guess that makes sense. Don't know how it beat Inception.

How this didn't make it to number 2 is surprising.

824m in under 2 months. Fuck me.

The fuck, who even cares for Shrek anymore? The only good Shrek film was the original.

    No other comments on these.

I didn't know that Alice in Wonderland was that popular, and I heard Clash of the Titans was terrible.

I saw them all, except Toy Story. In all honesty, Clash of the Titans was pretty worthless...

    Toy Story 3: Awesome movie.

Alice in Wonderland: Wasn't that good.

    Inception: Great Movie.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1: Did not see, hoping to see int he near future.

Shrek Forever After: Did not see, guessing it was repulsive based on what people have said and the reviews on it.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse: Don't need to see this one to know if its good or not.

Iron Man 2: First one was better.

    Despicable Me: Meh.

How to Train Your Dragon: Good.

Clash of the Titans: Never seen.

I managed to catch all apart from twilight, I must say I really enjoyed how to train your dragon. I really liked the fact that he lost his leg, not something you would of seen if Disney would of made it.

I wanna see that movie so many say it was good i wouldn't watch it at cinemas though maybe just on TV. Disney actually make some decent movies but people just get the impression they're just kids movies when they are actually pretty good, like Prince of Persia i loved that movie.

Im surprised Avatar isnt there? =o
