Iron-Man multiplayer mode

Has anyone been alive for 3 years+?
Lol this is THE most extreme part of the diablo 2 multiplayer mode.

Here's what it is, its like a normal multiplayer character except when you die, your character(corrected by 1337Neo) is deleted. Period. 1 death and its like real life, its over.

I tried playing it but i never get too far before some nuthead kills me off. How about you guys?

 

Never played or even attempted to play it, maybe they will put something like this in Diablo III, then I might give it a go.

 

Its extremely challenging and you'll have to take alot of precautions. Mobs of monsters will have you stun'd. I advise you to play it at least once

 

Really isn't that great, I mean it's nice when you duel someone and get all their gear if you kill them. But I wouldn't put so much time and effort to get killed from lagging out :s

 

Well maybe it could have been more flexible than losing the account immediately. But i think that's what its all about. The extremes.

 

Not to mention all of the hacks and addons you can use, sorta defeats the purpose of it lol

 

Well yeah thats true. Hopefully Diablo 3 will be a bit more secure, but does anyone know if its included at all?

 

Never tried it on Diablod II but if they put it on Diablo III I'll give it a try for sure

 

There wasn't a large amount of people who played this style in D2, so I am not sure. I wonder if they will implement ladder mode?

 

That i'm not sure about but makes sense. People like rankings and it'll be even more competition, however i dont think they'll add everything from diablo 2 to 3. I just cant wait for it.

 

I believe you're talking about Hard Core mode? Also, yes it's quite easy to die in Diablo II if you're not cautious, a simple small mistake might cause the character to be gone forever. I've never heard of Iron-Man multiplayer mode, so I'm not sure what you're talking about on that part.

That is what the hard-core mode is named. Ironman . Says it in the guidebook i have.

 

I think I have a guide book for Diablo II, but not sure where it went. But anyways, I don't think your account will closed if you play on "Iron-Man" mode and you die on it, it will just not you login to the character, not your account.

I'mm 99% sure that I didn't receive a guidebook when I had bought the game but I received Diablo II's book, the font was so little lol, awesome book I think I'll read it again this summer!
