pmod section post was just leaked

Damn, I feel sorry for all those people that use free bots from powerbot.org. I only use premium bots so hopefully I'll be safe.

 

Earlier in the year, Jagex blamed the "stat resets" on a glitch in the game. They concealed the fact that it was a punishment for botters. They wanted botters to keep botting so they could catch more of them. This could be the same logic?

 

If this is true it's both amazing news and bad news at the same time. Hopefully I won't be banned.

 

ehh, they have "updated" there botting detection system plenty of times, and yet I have never stopped, never slowed down, and never had anything happen to any of my accounts, LOL. It's most likely another ploy to get us to fear botting for awhile til the word finally gets around that the ban-rates havn't increased and the ruse is spoiled and botting continues.

Not trying to start a conspiracy or anything, just seems odd that out of the few things that get leaked from these forums, one of them would stress this mass-ban so heavily while not really informing of anything else we don't already know, just feels a little too set up.

 

Does this mean we should lay off the botting for awhile?

 

^ I wouldnt bot AS MUCH. Lets say they are telling the truth. You slow down botting it will make you look a little better compared to others botting the same amount as you. It will bring you off the radar that much more. Now lets say its fake. You slow down botting. Mass ban time comes around and no one is banned. Go back to botting as much as you previously. No harm no foul.

And to the stat resets. I was at 99 att, 98 str, 98 def, 98 hp before I was caught and was given a roll back. Im sure they didnt find out I was botting when I was 99,98,98,98. Maybe this "mass ban" is going to involve alot of people who xfer gold the first day free trade is back.

 

Jagex is fully aware that any and all information posted in P-Mod sections will be leaked here in seconds if it's even remotely significant to us.

I don't see any way how they could benefit by awaring us about a mass ban, and considering that nobody is able to verify the authenticity of that post, I'm pretty sure it's fake. Editing the HTML of the page is easy and takes seconds.

 

Lay off of the free bots, yes.

 

This is obviously a total lie. Whoever wasted his life editing this fails.

They can never give advanced information like that, if it was true and all the pmods would buy the higher food they would make a massive profit.

 

It may be only a few lines of code, but they have to do a bunch of debugging and testing. There have been many updates within the span of 3 years, and they have to change things such as relocating quests and minigames.

sorry to say this but this picture is very fake. I am a Pmod and i can tell you the only mention there has been about free trade and wildy was jagex saying that they where finding it hard to deal with the concept of free trade and wildy returning.

 

Like that they didn't like the fact that so many people want it back?

 

Wait, an increase of healing on sharks and such?
Shouldn't it be a good idea to stock up on them as their price probably will raise then?

 

No there was literally like one line about free trade and wildy, and that was that they said they where having troubles dealing with the idea of wildy and free trade returning.

I have no proof but i heard that thats a fake. I heard it from a different website where a guy posted the real thread. Has nothing to do with free trade or wild. The 'real' thread was about a different game by Jagex called War of Legends and about mods and their duty's on the forums. Idk if this is 100% true either though.
