How to train a def pure?

Accounts such as this need to be planned out before you start training, to maximize efficiency.

Firstly, raise your attack/strength/defense together until you reach the strength level that you want.

Ex.

20 attack
20 str
20 def

Then you can move on to training attack and def. I would get those up in groups of 10.

Ex.

30 attack
20 str
30 Defence

I guess what I am trying to say is, plan this so you don't end up getting 40 def and 10 attack and strength and then decide to get 20 strength. Because it's a huge waste of time/training potential

 

I also hear monks are good for training def pures because they heal themselves before you can normally kill them?

 

If I was you I would do a little sw's to say maybe 50 or so. Then train on npc for the rest, cause you want a little bit of hp.

 

If you're staking have a big think before you start, because you need a perfect staking account, what're you going for ? 70 att 30 str 70 def? 99 def 70 range? 99 def 60 range? because then you need to be at a combat level where it's a hot level for staking then you need to take into consideration counter-stakers (people with accounts better than yours) or just go maxed with 1 pray?

I believe they've stopped healing themselfs, or am I wrong?
I don't know the starting levels but once you've got some defence and armour, attack a monster which doesn't hit on you and you wont kill.

 

Do soul wars and use all your zeals on defence. keep 10 hp just level it while your staking.

as far as quests go, Im making a staker similar to this, and I got str to what I was getting, (bit higher than you) so I did the fremmy trials and isles quests, then I got attack to 60 for drag weps with like 20 defense on rock crabs, and then did lost city for d long, then did defense training at yaks after I finished the isles quest, prolly gonna use yaks for the rest of the training they super low defense, never hit on my defense, and have decent hp.

 

L2readthread, they don't heal themselves anymore.

 

Actually SW is the fastest way of training, after 40~ or so Defence.
Just use the zeals on Defence AND HP.
It's like 5x faster than ordinary training.

whats stats are u going for and how will u stake, if it looks promising i might bot myself a def staker, but i dunno how they work

 

5 attack 10 str 75+ def, like old staking was, stake 100k to someone and lose with pure armor on, ask for a rm and stake 500k, pull out full torags bone dagger/steel dagger++ and kill them.

 

wouldnt lower def like 60 or something that wont show up in highscore be better?

then u just wear full dragon

 

The only advantage of it is that it doesn't show up on hiscores.
One VERY, VERY great thing to achieve when you reach 75 Defence, is that you can use DFS's dragonbreath attack.

Speeds things up.
